7. Watched the day two smjhl stream. Obviously was mostly interested in how Anchorage did so was really only tuned in for those games. The first of our live streamed games that day was against Carolina. A fairly boring first period was followed by Carolina putting three goals on us in the second although I managed to get one back for us. It was fairly turgid from then on and the game ended 4-2 to Carolina. The second game was a quick sim vs Colorado and despite coming out to an early lead they managed to score two late goals in the 3rd to tie it up before winning in the shoot out. Lastly we played Quebec in another live sim where things went better for the boat gang. We scored early to put ourselves 1-0 up before laying on three goals in the third period to take the win with a final score of 4-1.

Alright, I'm watching S63 SMJHL Regular Season Day 3 right now. The first game is Maine at Newfoundland. They seem pretty evenly matched up. Maine had good puck possession to start the first period but Newfoundland slowly caught up with them. Maine is defiantly the faster team let's see how that effects this game. Scoreless through the first period though Newfoundland leads in shots on net eleven to eight. Tommy Tightpants puts it in to give the lead to Newfoundland one to nothing and the berserkers goal song is horrific Maine is getting out shot badly here twenty to eight and Newfoundland's Emeril Leggase (sp?) just bammed it into the net. Remember when NBC gave Emeril his own sitcom in the early 2000s? What a terrible show and what a terrible idea for a show. It wasn't like reality tv, it was a legit scripted sitcom. It only lasted like three episodes before getting canceled.

7. I watched the Day 8 SMJHL sim. This was a big stream for the Nevada Battleborn as it featured 3 games, 1 of them which was a battle between the top two teams in the division. The Battleborn started off their sim day in their biggest match, facing division leaders and rivals in the Carolina Kraken. It was a tight game throughout, but Carolina continued to hold the edge before opening up a late 2 goal lead. Nevada would manage to bring it one closer very late in the third, but at that point they had just run out of time to really finish off their push. The Battleborn played twice more, defeating Anchorage 2-1 and a big 5-2 win over Kelowna, allowing them to take over the 5th overall spot in the SMJHL.

A particular shoutout for game of the day goes for the game between the Maine Timber and the Great Falls Grizzlies. It was a highly contested game which started with a big first period out of the Grizzlies as they stepped up to a 3-1 before the buzzer. With their backs against the wall, Maine really hunkered down and put the guys to work, keeping strong defensively as they make a bid to tie up the game before the end of the second. Heading into the third, it was a fresh game, both teams evened up. It would stay that way until overtime where with just over a minute and a half left, Jay Cue would complete the comeback and send the hometown fans home happy with a big Maine Timber win, continuing the very solid start to the season that has them sitting 2nd place overall.

I watched the stream for the first time and as someone that has never watched Ice Hockey i was slightly confused and had to ask my teammates and friends to help me understand the stats when i realised i had no clue what the abbreviations were so i had to look them up, i loved the goal music for the timbers i now have "Timber - Ke$ha" stuck in my head the night after, i was only going to watch one or two games because of the krakens and to see myself get time on the ice but i ended up watching it all, the games the thing i remember the most is Carolina Krakens vs Detroit Falcons which ended 4-2 i had to slow down the stream just to try and spot my name, but fair to say i will be back to watch more streams in the future (just for the song)

7. It's Day 13 of the SMJHL stream, that started with my Citadelles hosting Newfoundland in my debut (and Petra's). We open up a 2-1 lead heading to the third despite being badly outshot (shoutout Justin Time for standing on his head), but NL snags a pair of late goals and takes the W in regulation.

After that came Anchorage vs. Detroit which was a game with playoff implications for us as we are chasing the Armada. Unfortunately this one didn't go our way; the Falcons outplayed the visitors from Alaska, but the game ended up going to the lottery known as the shootout and Anchorage prevailed.

After that were a couple games that didn't matter for our playoff push, both decided by 4-1 scorelines; Carolina used three first period goals to roll past St. Louis and Regina pulled away from Detroit in the late game.

7. One of the more odd streams that I've watched this season. Starting off with a Great Falls versus Quebec game that I thought was pretty evenly matched but saw Quebec take an early 1-0 lead to and final 1-0 score. What made the stream odd, or rather infuriating, is that Newfoundland lost 3 games. We haven't lost that many games all season and then we lost 3 in one stream. An early lead against Nevada turned into a 4-2 loss for us. Then we lost 4-2 to the Grizzlies but at least I didn't have to see it live. Finally, we turned an early lead into a 5-4 loss to my old team the Anaheim Outlaws. I know we have only lost 6 total games this season but for 3 of them to come in this one sim was just a wee bit annoying. I am hopeful we get back to our winning ways soon and I do not want to see us lose that many in a row again.

7.) I watched my player's first live stream Day 13 coming off of a win against Maine 4-1. We join our 2nd game against Nevada. Taking off with a solid 3-1 start the 4th goal (I believe) My first ever assist. So ecstatic to see him get his first SMJHL point. Looking down the road thought 4-1 probably just gonna be the end of the game for Nevada well another 3 goals in 2 minutes (real time) with 2 being for GFG and 1 being for Nevada. Was just hoping to see my first ever Goal. It didn't come but within the last 10 minutes in the game we scored another goal and Brick Wall gave up another 2 because the simulation hates him. So my first point comes with a solid performance from our goalie. We ended the day kind of rough with a quick sim loss to Anaheim 4-1, but overall above 500 day worked out perfectly for us after the day with 4 games in hand 1 point behind them at the time.
