Like every season, each committee member puts their top 3 players for each award on a ballot in order, and we use a positional voting system where a 1st place vote is worth 5 points, 2nd is worth 3, and 3rd is worth 1. So if I write "Player: 17 points (2/1/4)" would mean that Player got two first place votes (5x2), one second place vote (3x1), and four third place votes (1x4) for a total of 17 points.

Evok, the GM of QCC says “the first time I spoke with mer was the eve of the smjhl draft. It took only that discussion to know that she would turn into an amazing user in the shl and that I wanted her on my team. She quickly got involved in the team, starting with game screenshots, helping the other players, offering to help scout in the next offseason and recently setting up a game night for the Quebec City Citadelles. I know she's involved in her rookie class discord as well along with producing impressive media and tweeting with the rest of the league. Her development is impressive for a first generation user and I'm glad she's getting noticed as she deserves ahead of the shl draft.”
Although only one can claim the Elias Armia Award, all 3 nominees deserve it in their own right. We hope they can continue to be paragons of dedication to the league, and make others believe that they too can win the silverware if they try hard enough. No matter what happens in the future, whether it be a lustrous career in the SHL, or they decide to stay in the J, we will be excited to watch them continue to grow. It's because you're such an awesome user! You were also your team's Onoprienko nom but most of us had already seen and heard so many great things from you that we couldn't put you up for it, especially with your name coming up so much in our Miller discussions. In the end I felt weird about listing two other names alongside Emi so I talked about it with the committee and we decided to just announce her as the winner straight away, but it's always great to see such great new members in our little community, and for me that goes double for awesome goalies
