Took me a while to finally announce it even it's been technically a fact since the last update (~5 months) and unsuccessful last ditch attempt to find one more team for final season though it's still a while before 4th year anniversary (that will be in month and a half) of joining the site and creating Piotr here. Also I guess it's a loophole and I had the longest S41 career after all, over immortal Kata Vilde
This was truly a rollercoaster of a career, from enjoyable SMJHL stint with Montreal Militia, through bittersweet rookie season and even more so 2 seasons with Edmonton that also resulted in the only trophy here. Finally blossomed with the Spectres that resulted in 3 all-star teams (2x 1st, 1x3rd) as well as winning 2 Jac McDonalds and nomination for Ron Mexico. I'll also remember fondly seasons with several other franchises like San Francisco Pride, Texas Renegades, Manhattan Rage and finally Los Angeles Panthers. Really grateful for all these stints and people I met along the way. I guess career didn't end up to bad in the with total 762 point that is good for 39th in all time leaderboard, same position for 319 goals scored.
Last, but not least some personal thank you to some of the individuals here, since this is likely my goodbye to the site as well:

Evok - my best teammate and mentor that I refused to remove from the shared signature even 10+ seasons after Fletcher retired. Usually in other leagues I'm single team player for entire career, but I'm glad SHL career arc has been different and I was able to follow you for as long as possible!

JKortesi81 - I mentioned the best teammate so it's only fitting to mention best GM that literally saved my career and interest in the league, since after quite disappointing start I wasn't sure it was worth to continue to push, thankfully opportunity to play together on new franchises was one of the Czerkawski's best decisions.

Blastmeaway - for being a part of the (yes you guessed it) best national team with one of the greatest locker rooms in sim league world - I actually might recreate as Czech (well, and Poland still not being an option) just to have full access to it again, if I were to be even remotely close to my past sim league activity.

JayWhy - it was a pleasure to represent both Pride & Rage (cardinal sins much, oh my and I played for Spectres, Renegades & Wolfpack too, truly doomed I am, at least I missed Inferno train) for extended period of time, even if my activity wasn't peak anymore I'm glad that you took a chance with me!
@Fuzz - for one last season in the SHL and opportunity to part with the ice in the playoffs after a bit of a dry spell in that department, Czerkawski was also surprisingly spry for his 19th seasons in that year.

trella - for recommending the league in the first place - I joined the PBE first then NSFL (well, ISFL now) and in the DSFL locker room of San Antonio Marshalls you have recruited me among other folks there. I guess I would have joined anyway, given so many people share the interest in all leagues, but I'm glad it happened rather sooner than later.

Toivo - drafting me 3rd OA, which was my lucky number in many of the sim leagues, I think I was drafted with this pick like 4+ times (certainly NSFL, here, GOMHL & SBA)
And to everyone I shared ice with, exchanged conversation or interacted in any other way - huge thank you and good luck in the future, I'll always remember my time here fondly, I'm also still around on Discord or in PBE if you ever wanted to catch up.

This was truly a rollercoaster of a career, from enjoyable SMJHL stint with Montreal Militia, through bittersweet rookie season and even more so 2 seasons with Edmonton that also resulted in the only trophy here. Finally blossomed with the Spectres that resulted in 3 all-star teams (2x 1st, 1x3rd) as well as winning 2 Jac McDonalds and nomination for Ron Mexico. I'll also remember fondly seasons with several other franchises like San Francisco Pride, Texas Renegades, Manhattan Rage and finally Los Angeles Panthers. Really grateful for all these stints and people I met along the way.
