The team chose to freeze some fish under the ice, they through it would be funny when the crew pulled it out at the end of the year. What was surprising however was the 12 dead bodies found. Apparently the local mafia got access to the ice when it was being laid and preserved evidence against them.

The team decided that with the changing times on the team and the fact that the team was entering a new era, an epic era, the Aurora froze a book under the ice before the season. But not just any book, The Eye of the World. The first book in the wheel of time. This was to signify the start of a new era of greatness.

I would freeze a donut at the middle of the ice. This is for no particular reason, it was just the first random item that came to mind for some reason.

It's considered good luck in certain cultures to keep a rabbit's foot, but the Edmonton Blizzard decided to mix things up a little and bury a fox foot. While we were better than last season, it didn't really work, as the Blizzard failed to really set the world on fire.

before the season started, we got together as a team and clipped our toenails. we put all the toenail clippings into a jar and froze that under the ice to bring good luck to the argonauts!

For the longest time there was slices of pepperoni hidden all throughout the ice done secretly by Tony Pepperoni. To honour him as a player we continued this tradition, one slice for every point he got while with the Blizzard.

We froze the key to Python's chastity cage. Dude is playing like a god when frustrated. I can only imagine the face of Python, after the arena crew finds it and throwing it in the trash.

Frozen under the ice of the Climate Pledge Arena is the last game jersey worn by the Argonauts first and, prior to this season only, Captain, the amazing Cassius Darrow. He means an incredible amount to the franchise and the thought of his jersey not being represented was too much for the team.

The only thing that makes sense for the forge to freeze under the ice is an anvil. A full size one to be exact, unfortunately the ice isnt deep enough so part of it is exposed in the corner of the rink.

The atlanta inferno froze a a cheap can of lager beer in the ice, that they defrosted before the playoffs started and handed over to Pavel Jeziak to give him a boost. It seems to work since Jeziak is currently point per game.
