Like the Whalers, the Anchorage Armada are a rebuilding team with many rookies this past season. In this deepdive I will be covering 5 of the rookies that they had on the team in the s64 season. The players I will be covering are: Leon Lokitonov, Chase Yardley Jr., Ricky Koivu, Sam McMuffin, and Luka Magic.

RW - Leon Lokitonov: Leon Lokitonov, son of Mikhail Lokitonov, is having a stellar rookie season for himself, with 13 goals and 17 assists for a humble 30 points on the season, good for 5th on his team for points and tied for 4th for goals, 6th for assists though. He was also 6th in shots for the team, with a respectable 143 shots, more than 2 per game. He was also 5th in offensive game rating, with a 62 in that category.

LW - Chase Yardley Jr.: Chase Yardley Jr. also had a humble season, with 20 points from 13 goals and 7 assists. His performance was good for tied for 4th for goals on the team and tied for 8th on the team on points. He also had a tremendous 116 shots blocked in the season, almost 2 shots blocked per game. He lead the team in shooting percentage with a high 14.9 percent: 13 goals on 87 shots.

RW - Ricky Koivu: Like Chase Yardley Jr., Ricky Koivu, one of the three Koivu triplets in this draft class, also had 20 points, which is tied for 8th on the team. His 20 points consisted from 8 goals and 12 assists. He took a lot for his team this season, as he was 6th on the team on ice time, with 1429 minutes, and average time on ice of 21:39. Also like Chase Yardley Junior, Ricky Koivu had 116 shots blocked on the season. He was also 5th on the team inhits, with 89 hits. He also was tied for the 3rd to last in penalty minutes with 8 minutes.

LD - Sam McMuffin: Sam McMuffin had 13 points on the season, with 3 goals and 10 assists, good for 12th on the team. He had a high total of 105 hits, good for second on the team. Sam McMuffin was also 4th on the team in ice time, with 1446 minutes, an average of 21:55 minutes per game.

RW - Luka Magic: Luka Magic garnered 12 points for himself in this season, with 2 goals and 10 assists, good for 13th on the team. He had a respectable 31 hits and 49 blocks. He had 54 shots on goal in the season, with 24 penalty in minutes, and had 857 minutes on ice thise whole season.

Here, we can see that the Anchorage Armada have a bit of work to do growing their team and their rookies. However, their rookies did have a strong season this season, and in a couple of seasons, after their players have grown and they draft additional players to help build their team, they could be a contender for a good amount of time to come.
