S65 Colorado Raptors Captains

Colorado had an incredible season in S64, finishing 2nd in the league. We have to give credit to the leaders on the team, always willing to help or step up when needed. We unfortunately have lost 2 of our Captains heading into S65. Offensive weapon, Shoyo Hinata moves onto Atlanta and defensive stud Jamal Nightingale has aged out. We hope for the best for the both of you. So now we are looking for new captains to lead this team in S65 and beyond. It was put to a vote and the team has made its decision.

The Alternate Captains

JR Frankenstero (@Punk42AE)
Punk has been such a great addition to our team since joining it as a free agent in S63. A great presence in the locker room and always open for a friendly chat. And on the ice Frankenstero is looking to fill the hole that Hinata left. He certainly has the tools to do so. Look for him to take his game to another level this season while also helping those around him.

Binko Koivu (@goldenglutes)

This is the 3rd year in a row as a Alternate Captain for Binko Koivu. That is really impressive and shows what kind of person glutes is. The team knows and trusts him. Also very knowledgeable. Binko Koivu is going to be the leader on the defensive side. Also making the jump to the 425 cap, so we expect big things again from Koivu this year.

The Captain

Evan Winter (@RomanesEuntDomus)

RED came on as an alternate last season and did a great job. RED is a good source of knowledge so a great person to have in LR. As for Winter, ven though he was not a true center, he accepted his new role there last season. He also didnt have flashy stats but he grinded and did all the little things. He did the dirty work. Winter is a key piece for us on offense and equally on defense. We are excited for Winter in this new role as Captain this season.
