Now looking back around the time this deal was made. Great Falls on the downfall losing key players such as Mandosson, and Komarek. Great Falls was relying heavily upon start players such as Wong, Ashe II, Askerov, and Moxii. Great Falls making a gut feeling about how the team would be relying on Inactives and Drafted Prospects early on in scoring depth. Possibly a critical moment is when most drafted prospects Great Falls leaned on fell into inactivity themselves. Missing playoffs it was found to be both discouraging, and openly was a disappointment for Moxii and many others including longtime GM Chevy. To further the problem Moxii openly admitted he did not think a championship window would be open by the time all prospects drafted were developed. This was much more critical due to the former front office member now the GM of formerly team Anaheim Outlaws now Yukon Malamutes, being aggressive in s64 and s63 in trading for rentals to make a push for a cup against a goliath in Newfoundland. For obvious reason Great Falls lost in the finals, ending the series in 4-1 a blowout fashion of sorts. Leading to the deal was the conversations of Moxii being traded at trade deadline to one of the big name teams such as Newfoundland, Quebec City, Detroit, and Nevada. under circumstances front office was hesitant to trade their main piece for the rebuild.

After the season ended Moxii made his request being he wanted to win a championship before being called up by Montreal in 2 seasons. Underperforming his own expectations in Great Falls, he wanted a change of scenery hoping it will sprout some new light on what he can do and give him a different perspective of the league as a whole. Moxii now leading in goals with 11, and running in the top 5 with 16 overall points. Moxii has shown he can play offensively, but also include himself on the other end with 16 blocks and 21 hits all in the matter of 12 games played so far. Team as done well, but still has some questionable signs overall on the team as they have fell in some question mark games. It would be expected upon the Citadelles to make some, on the fly, changes that could predict how well the rest of the season goes.

Among this trade that happened

Quebec receives

Shylo Moxii
S65 (3 OA) Otis Boudreaux

A solid pick at it's core. Otis has shown he's consistent in progression, and is also very much active within the locker room itself. Otis is definitely a key member to the QCC scoring depth, but has managed to work his way up the SHL draft board as well. Being on Colorado for a brief time was also a very good playoff experience for the young man, and it has lead for him to be a key guy with connections to multiples teams through Colorado and Quebec City for SHL teams further on. Solid for Quebec, but now let's look at Great Falls.

Great Falls receives

S65 (14 OA) (via NL) Alisters Vismanis

A captain for Great Falls, but more importantly a needed jump inactivity in the Great Falls locker room which is a desperate need for everyone these days in SHL and SMJHL. It is without a doubt Vismanis will be a serious threat to any team in the league as his development has surely shown around, and from an insiders look at GFG, He has seemingly been active as much as you can really hold a rookie to active in. This is not the only thing GFG gained. They also gained a ton of draft capitol from the future. It is with no doubt that Great Falls has the assets they need for the future while losing the majority of the core they had back in S63 and S64 it is for a good cause.

66 QCC 2nd

66 QCC 5th
67 GFG 2nd

this is the draft capitol for the future. Is it going to be enough? Only time will tell, but I believe GM Chevy, and Co-GM Durden know fully well what they are doing are willing to do what needs to be done for the success of Great Falls, and the first Championship in Great Falls history.
