We're going to go with "pengu". Performing a "pengu" is when you are a defender and you score a goal from the blue line by just slapping it out with a prayer. The Pengu special.

Starcar:  The lifted volkswagen beetle that zamboni's the ice in between periods for the Toronto North Stars.  Its official name is the shaggin waggin but thats boring, so fans refer to it as the Starcar.

"Big Wiggin' It" is when you wear three helmets or more all on top of each other. It offers both extra protection, as well as a unique look that most other players don't have the courage to try.

Poop: This is when a player pops ("poops") in a skill. Imagine that. Everyone wants to have a poop! On a young team: you get a poop, you get a poop, everyone gets a poop!

Billy Clubbing - a term that refers to when the goalie two-handed chops the ankles of an opposing player who is in their crease and trying to block or screen them. Named after Billy Smith of the old 80's Islanders. He may have taken a few slashing penalties, but people learned to stay the hell out of his crease.

"getting FHMed" - it happens randomly, but it happens: the first shot on goal gets in and after that the goalie plays a perfect game. It's positive and negative at the same time depending on your perspective.

stickmaster - you pick up a second stick lost by an opponent and play with two sticks, of course you gain in power and play twice as good by doing so

A cool new hockey word would be vjamos. It would be almost like vamos but means "come on, guys" instead of celebrating a goal or something like that. So, when you say "vjamos!" on the bench, it means you are couraging your team to battle harder on the rink.

"Jarmo"- When a player is just really boring and doesn't do much. He's not bad, he just doesn't do shit on the ice and his career is super uninteresting!

Puckstick. Any opponent that is one the ice that you really hate is a Puckstick. And since its a variation of a common term that contains vulgar language, this one is completely family friendly .

We all know the term Wheel Snipe Celly is to skate fast, shoot accurately and celebrate your goal. Well the aftergame celebration is a Meal Time Belly. The player goes to the nearest Golden Corral and gorges him/herself on the worst buffet known to man then sleeps for 12hours.

Taking a Schit. When you take a huge hit, but still score on the play. "Oh man, he cut across the front of the net and scored, but got absolutely leveled. What a great schit."

Our favorite hockey slang in Nevada is saying "PONTOS" whenever anyone scores, or anything good happens in general. It's just a feel-good thing we use whenever something positive occurs. Most people are still unsure where it came from - some of the veterans remember the origin but it has just become a thing even for people who don't remember it.

The Double Underhook: When two players both take their sticks and hook an opposing player at the same time, resulting in a hook with twice the power and twice the penalties.

Giving you two examples of German hockey speech here:

"Bengel reinhalten" - To deflect a puck in front of the net
"Spekulatius" - Doing an unncecessary high risk play with a low probability of success
