Playing pool: when a defenseman shoves an attacking player into his own goalie and expects draw a a goaltender interference penalty. It is really frustrating to see defenders 'playing pool'.

Skraaa Shot - when the shooter gets close to the net fakes like he's going slap shot and he just lets it float right in and the goalie doesn't know what happened, the player skraaa shot it

we are going to start using the term Whipple. a Whipple is when a skater falls to the ground without being hit. For cases where its clearly a fake fall the Wipeout song will play to reinforce the point.

Getting Allen'd = running into a stellar performance by a young backup goalie. It is a reference to S63, when the mighty Tim Allen Jr. pulled an 11-2-0 record and was robbed in the Ryan Jesster award voting. Teams were getting Allen'd.

Sleeping on the ice: means a person's hit so hard, he's out of his senses, and takes time to realize he's playing a hockey game and gets up after a while.
