(This post was last modified: 06-03-2022, 12:08 PM by CptSquall. Edited 1 time in total.)

We will take a look at the goalie who just got drafted in the SMJHL and the other who joint afterwards.

The stats were taken after the day 14 of the simulation, so a little bit after the mid-season.

The first goalie taken was Graj Virrok by Kelowna at the rank 15. Kelowna sits in 13th place in the league with two rookie goalie. In 24 games, he managed to win 4 times and have a GAA of 4.37 with a SV% of 0,910.

The next pick was also a goalie : Edward Elric. Anchorage sits just one position higher than Kelowna. After 31 games, he got 8 wins and a GAA of 4.14 with a SV% of 0.906.

In the 3rd round, Kelowna picks their other rookie goalie with the 32nd pick : Casey Fantobens. He has also had 4 wins, but in 21 games. He has almost the same stats as his teammates with 4.51 and 0.896.

Not long after, St Louis pick Anthony Dionne with the 36th pick. So far, he played in 13 games with a GAA of 3.22 and a SV% of 0.885 with 6 wins along the way. The Scarecrows are 4th in the league.

Just after Dionne, the Maine pick Sir Devoir. In 15 games he got 5 wins with a GAA of 4.16 and a SV% of .878. Maine is also just after St Louis in the standing.

The 40th pick were Alvin Towne by Great Falls. The Grizzlies are 11th in the league just before Achorage. With his 22 games, he got 9 wins with a GAA of 3.34 and a SV% of 0.918.

The Champions of the 4 Stars Cup pick Samuel Picard at the 42nd selection. He wins all his 7 games with some really good stats : 1.23 GAA and a SV% of 0.934. Newfoundland are 3rd in the standing.

The last goalie picked was Manny Vector at 47th by Vancouver. He already has 20 games, but only 2 wins. Vancouver is last in the standing, but have a promising team. Vector have a GAA of 5.32 and a SV% of 0.889.

We have three goalies who joint the league after the draft.
Carolina signed Mr. Lightning but only to put him on the bench. He played in 7 games, but started none. He has the worst stats of the bunch : GAA of 6.72 and a SV% of 0.851. Carolina are in the middle of the standing.

Nevada signed Dexter Harrison and with 15 games under the belt, he already has 9 wins. He got some good stats to with a GAA of 1.80 and a SV% of 0.923. Nevada is 6th, but has a monstrous differential of +74 so far.

The last rookie (so far) to joint was Caleb Hayden with Québec. He wins all the 4 games he played and have so good stats too : GAA of 1.96 and a SV% of 0.905. Québec is the second best team in the standing so it helps.

So overall, we got many goalies at this draft (8 + 3 after) and only two of us got picked before the 3rd round. Where the team is in his cycle is important because some teams have two rookies in the net and some others have played less than 40% of their team's games.

For the SHL teams that will get a goalie in the S66 draft have to look beyond the stats. But at least they will have a choice (like me Smile )!
