Creative Prompt

The crazier even that the cup has survived was the day that Pengu stole the cup Penguins of Madagascar style to take it home to his family in the arctic to show it off. You see despite all of Pengu's friends visiting, no one from where Pengu is from really believe he's an international sports star. He's a penguin and that would just be crazy! So Pengu came up with a plan, stole the cup, and took it home with him for a day. It was there while he was showing it off to everyone that it was stolen by a skua. Skua are known for hunting and eating penguins and this one just missed and grabbed the cup. It ultimately ended up dropped in the middle of the arctic and Pengu had to enlist the help of several colonies of penguins to track it down and find it. Once it was found, it was completely filled with snow and ice and now when the cup is presented it is filled with ice to harken back to its adventure!

Jay O'Neil would bring the cup back home to his folks in Dorchester, one of the many neighborhoods in Boston, Massachusetts. After showing it off to all the family he would pour some dunkin donuts iced coffee straight into the cup and drink it out of it. Doesn't matter what time of year, a dunks cold one will always hit the spot. Next, for lunch Jay is going to eat some New England clam chowder directly out of the cup (the best in the world that his mum happens to make), it's been a while since Jay has had his mum's chowder so he makes sure he eats every last drop.  And to finish the night (after cleaning the cup of course) Jay fills the thing to the brim with natty light so the boys who still live around can say they chugged a cold one out of the challenge cup itself. Hopefully the boys don't break the cup once they're all hammered but no promises.

Tommy Thomspon came close to getting to raise the Four Star Cup last seasons, but the dominating Berserkers put an end to what were ultimately distant hopes. Still, Thompson has aspirations to win both trophies: first, the Four Star Cup with the Quebec City Citadelles, and then the Challenge Cup with the Buffalo Stampede. Whichever cup he wins first -- if indeed he wins a cup -- he intends to bring home to Denver, Colorado. It's a city that's no stranger to hockey, being one of the two or three premier 'hockey states', which means that even a player from an opposing team like Quebec could probably reliably draw a crowd with the cup. But it isn't about crowds in any kind of mercenary sense, but more about giving kids the same experience he got when he was younger: a chance to see a hometown hero, as much as he really believes he could ever be on that level, giving the town something to cheer for.

After an obligatory event with a crowd in some sort of small venue, Thompson would focus on bringing the cup out to all the local minor teams -- not the proper sponsored teams, but the rec teams, where kids cut their teeth on the game before ever having a chance to glimpse big tournaments and real equipment. It's all about inspiring the next generation, after all.

Player Prompt

My day with the cup will be a special one. As I am part of the fire brigade, I will spend a day with the trophy there. You must know, that we also participate in competitions, and that's the first stop we will go with the trophy. Let's use it as some kind of lucky charm, a piece that grants us good luck. After the competition begins the celebrating part of the day, and there, the trophy fits in perfectly fine. You can't imagine how well suited it is for something like that. In Austria we have the tradition of drinking "Doppler", free translation would be something like doubles. That is 2 liter of beer in one big glass or other thing that can hold liquids. Do you see where the trophy comes into play already? This is the most vital part of it, drinking and having a fun time while getting hammered. Me and the boys and the trophy on tour, it's gonna be legendary.

If Boots were to finally get his hands on the cup it would definitely come back home. There'd be an opportunity to spend time with fans who have supported Boots through his career and plenty of time to sit back and relax with the cup among family and friends. A huge bbq would take place at Boots' home with drinks and celebrations and the cup would just be there and present the whole time, constantly admired, occasionally lifted, often used as a cup or serving tray just because they can. It would be 24 hours of memories, a significant moment in Boots career that he can share with everyone precious to him that he'll remember for a lifetime. Boots would likely get some photos taken as well with some beautiful Newfoundland scenery in the background. Maybe leave some sign to signify that the cup was here. A hockey player wearing his team jersey proudly where he grew up, now holding the trophy that he could only dream about lifting one day.

Player Prompt:

The Toronto north stars have just defeated the Los Angeles Panthers in 6 games to win their first cup since S35. Today is the day that Videl Valor will have the challenge cup to herself, and she wasted no time displaying it, in her hometown of Tokyo, where the cup was filled with local drinks and almost everyone, including Videl had a drink from it. The next thing she did was bring it to an altar to honor her long lost relatives, and embrace her glory onto their name. The next place she would bring it to, was Osaka, which is where she first embraced the sport of hockey, and of course, the home of the Japanese National ice hockey team. She did almost ding the cup though, she literally tied it to her back while flying around japan and nearly hit a small apartment building on her way to Osaka, she was most likely drunk then. So in the near future when Lilja wins his first and last cup before he hits the retirement home along with his buddy, Mihailov, who sadly did not get to hoist the cup, I think it is pretty much needless to say that there was not any sleeping involved for the next few days after winning the final game to seal the deal. First and foremost, Lilja would leave the city and go to a somewhat undisclosed location for his cabin in the woods. The cup would play a huge role in his daily routines, basicly he would sleep with the cup as his little spoon. When its time for breakfast, he would whip up cereal and eat it straight out of the cup bowl, along with his chicken parm spaghetti which he has had for lunch on a daily basis ever since he joined the league. All in all, he would take the cup to a place where he would not be found easily, and do everyday stuff with it. Kappa.

Sean Gatez would make sure that his day with the cup was with him back in Colorado. He has been thinking about this since he was little. He had always said he would get the cup to the top of a fourteener if he had a chance. Well, this is his chance. He has fashioned a backpack to be able to hold the awkward size of the cup, and he has found the best hike to get that cup to the summit. The day before the hike, he will camp out at the trailhead of Mt Bierstadt so that he can start the summit well before sunrise, around 3am to be exact. The main reason for starting so early is to beat the crowds that come with hiking such a popular trail, but also summiting at sunrise will be beautiful and worth it. A trail he has done many times in under 4 1/2 hours, he knows he can summit at 730 and be able to drink a summit beer out of the cup. Is there anything more Colorado than that? I beg to say there is not.

For Duncan Mackenzie, his day with the cup would be pretty simple. He would take it to his summer home in Kelowna, right on Lake Okanagan and proceed to hold a friggen rager of a party. He would invite everone he could think of and open the doors. People would be swimming, drinking, boating and having a great time. One thing he would absolutely have to do is go waterskiing while holding the cup! Once the party had wound down a bit, he would spend time sitting on the dock, using the cup as an ice bucket to keep his beer cold and watch the sunset over the lake. Then the second party would start as the sun goes down, kicking of another series of wild events. Eventually, after waking up the next morning, the would have to go look for the cup, only finding it hours later after realizing they had stashed it in the crawl space for "safe keeping" earlier in the night.

When looking at what Slavakov would do with the cup, it honestly wouldn’t be anything too crazy. He’s a quiet guy and isn’t necessarily known for partying, but he would take it on a tour of all the important places. First he would take the cup to his home town in Siberia and spend some time with his family. Next he would take it to his apartment in Japan and sit on his deck with the cup while looking at Mount Fuji. The third stop would be Newfoundland, and honestly it would be hard to avoid a party there considering all the people Slavakov knows there. If they’re able to make it out of Newfoundland sober, he would then go to Edmonton, because even after his trade he still loved his time with the Blizzard. Finally, he would take it back to San Francisco, celebrate with the team, and hand it off to his teammate so they can enjoy their time.
