I was debating weather to put this in Media or Discussion, ultimate I decided here so i could update it in one thread.
There once was a thread about losing weight and no more being fat, and I did post on it, but I dident go through.

Now today on Friday 24th of June 2022, after trying to eat better cause of the encouragement from NL Discord and some other ppl, I decided to weight myself. I knew my previous biggest was around 120kg/264.5lbs was a lot for a fellow height (5'9 ish), I never in a million years thought I was going to get bigger, but the scale shocked me. 128.7kg/283.7lbs

It shook me, I wasent ready to accept it, took me a minute to realize it. I am very big and unhealthy right now. I've tried tl better my eating habits and even started to move around more so I can only wonder if i ever crossed 130kg/286lbs which is very likely.

I looked myself in the mirror and decided thats it, I wanna be under 100kg/220lbs before my school starts. Its going to tough, I have 2 months to do, but I'm determined. I fucking done with this miserable life I'm having due to my weight.

I will use this thread to update my progress throught out and hopefully I can achieve it.

I'm going start care for myself, I wont fuck around and eat shitty food, no alcohol (not that i drink much currently). I might update this thread weekly or bi-weekly I'm not sure, but those in NL Discord going to get more updates probably. I hope I can inspire someone else aswell, since @Tylar and @tommytightpants inspired me

i'm all for living a healthier lifestyle, excited to hear you're going for it. in ten years when you're pushing 30 (like me) you'll be so glad you built good exercise and diet habits when you did (i didn't). shit's hard to learn and keep up when you have a mortgage and a full time job.

just a word of caution, your weight goal is very aggressive. losing more than 2lb/1kg per week over an extended period is tough on your body, and can require some pretty extreme diet changes or exercise routines that are usually not sustainable. depending on your routine and preferred exercises you might not see a change on the scale right away. especially in the beginning, focus on feeling better and having a body that can do what you want to do. those are the real goals of a healthy diet and exercise.

hit the gym, soak a shirt, develop a taste for salad, and good luck buddy

Good luck, it's tough but it can be done. I lost 60 lbs. a couple of years ago by intermittent fasting.

Hell yeah baby you're a shapeshifter, fuckin get it, can look at yourself in the mirror and realize you're not what you see, or think. You're some other thing, something that operates on the same set of principles as everyone that's ever been or will be. The body is continually changing, but something underlies it all. Numbers on a scale aren't what matters really, they're a pointer to the set of things desired maybe, somehow, but are just a stat in a game.

There are infinite potentials to be realized, decisive actions at every instant compound, eventually leading to something, could be anything... There's always the capacity to think, to remember what matters, to recall the option for a creative change, at each instant, the capacity to abort repetitive actions found to be leading to back to themselves, ones that leave little room for potential excellence. There's always a guide for better, an inner knowing to follow if recognized, re-cognized. An ordered set of words on some level. The definition of cognize: to perceive, know. or be aware of. Definition of re: in the matter of... (one) definition of matter: something to be dealt with.

Be glad to have the awareness of desire here, the capacity to articulate a wanting and see what else you're aware of.
