Well here comes part 2 of 3 parts. Slowly embracing that the draft has been upon us. I would like to congratulate all prospects who were drafted today. It is truly a wonderful feeling getting embraced by a brand new team, and nothing more can be said to create our own communities within the SHL forum society is what I like to call it. Let it be known that forwards are not the important players in this league as we are still departing on this journey to the award ceremony let us celebrate our defenseman in the league. Never getting enough praise for their own effort on the backend of the plays, but they stop more goals and play offense selflessly more than most can imagine. Sacrifice and dedication is truly one to embrace around the league. Now without further ado let's move into our next section of nominees today....the defenseman.

SCOTT STEVENS AWARD (Best Defenseman)

We come together to celebrate all of the achievements one can have as a defenseman. Dynamic on the ice normal huge, strong on the puck, more or less physical, can do the same offense forwards can just at a lower pace from further range, but most importantly are apart of the backbone to defense wins championships mentality. So simply to be honored for an award such as prestigious as this. You are on the right track to success in the SHL. Honorable mentions to Ole Olson, Arsene Leclerc, and Sean Gatez you all contributed in a magnificent way. Now onto the 3 nominees for this award.

Barracuda Colin Lambert 25 Goals, 38 Assists, 63 Points, +40, 60 Blocks, 67 Hits @rum_ham

So only people from the midwest, and specifically St.Louis know of a restaurant named Lambert's with their famous saying throwed rolls. Kind of funny to have Colin Lambert do that on the ice night in, and night out. Lob the biscuit up and down the ice all the time, and not only that have the eye for the back of the net. Huge portion to the success of a finals appearance for Tampa. He isn't the most defensive guy, but he can get the job done, and leading the defenseman in goals and in points very much eye candy to watch him play.

Inferno Puddles O'Duck 18 Goals, 44 Assists, 62 Points, +50, 79 Blocks, 119 Hits @Z-Whiz

I seem to become more and more impressed with every passing season. O'Duck had stop turning the puck over as much as he did last season, scored more goals and has only scored more goals in almost every season make himself better. Took a huge jump in now his second season in point production, but he has never given up the fact he's still a defenseman. Doesn't lack concentration or the IQ when it comes to playing on both ends of the ice and contributing to his team's success with video game on rookie mode style GF/60 of 5.1. Insanity so congrats on your nomination you surely deserve it.

pride Rikard Bjerg 12 Goals, 44 Assists, 56 Points, +30, 177 Blocks, 146 Hits @AgentSmith630

What can I say, figured one of the elite scoring defenseman, and also one of the guys who would make you made because you blocked everything like the puck is hitting a board in the middle of the ice would do fair justice for the final nominee. Rikard Bjerg is an impressive defenseman who has a prerogative to be a nominee and he can sustain the defense as he has for the powerhouse for 7 seasons now. Most courageously giving up his body for the betterment of the team's result, and position to win championships. This is a true representation of the Stevens Award.

BOJO BISCUIT AWARD (Best Defensive Defenseman)

More directly approached at the defensive aspect of the game. Defenseman have this liveliness to mess up and cause a disturbance to the balances of a forward core. Notably as physicality, spacing, gap control, corner and behind the net control, continuous procedures of causing pain. We have come to celebrate these type of builds as they have been solely recognized for this particular award. Most like the offensive flashy defenseman, but it takes a defenseman with elite play to be able to create offense. Honorable mentions include the likes of Sven Yxskaftt, Zebulov Leavitt, Nicholas Owens, Jonathan Hagan, Eero Makela, Alex Petrenko, and losing in a tiebreaker vote Puddles O'Duck. For the inclusion of the Nominees who are honored for this season.

syndicate Disisde Dayudie 9 Goals, 23 Assists, 32 Points, +43, 115 Blocks, 103 Hits, 30 TA, 17 GA @Samsung virtual assistant

He's done it for years. S50 drafted, a long 12 season career, Starting his rookie season in the new FHM era. 3 Challenge Cup Appearances winning 2 of them. He's shown not only this year, but over his career. He's not afraid to hit and block shots and take away pucks. He's had an illustrious career. He has been with Chicago for most of his career, and he has been doing excellent. He leads the team by example sacrificing the body and making selfless plays time and time again just to give his team a chance to win.

Monarchs Arsene Leclerc 14 Goals, 16 Assists, 30 Points, -48, 287 Blocks, 143 Hits, 44 TA, 59 GA @spooked

Arsene retiring after next season on a goodbye tour. He's consistently been a big name defensive guy for years. Something to say about him is he loves to block shots more than anyone in the world. He's truly a legendary artist of his craft. The excellence of what he has accomplished regardless of his team's play is truly showing at the end of the day he'll always give his heart for the cause.

pride  Rikard Bjerg 12 Goals, 44 Assists, 56 Points, +30, 177 Blocks, 146 Hits @AgentSmith630

It's with great pleasure to announce another player who as been amazing as he always has. Another solid choice for the award consolidating on both ends of the ice all year long, and has become a staple for the San Francisco core for a long time. It is without a doubt one of the most deserved players for this award.

Sure, what questions do you have exactly or who do you think was left out that should have been considered?
