With the completion of yet another successful World Juniors Championship, it is time to recognize this season’s winners!
Congratulations to the mighty DACH (GM’d ably by @Shylo_Moxii and @Valpix) for taking this season’s Gold Medal, with a win over this season's Silver Medallists, the good ol’ US of A (GM’d solo by @RAmenAmen). Sweden(GM’d by @SDCore) take home the Bronze, after overcoming a strong Team Canada (sorry Jay). A big thank you to all of the GMs and players for coming together to participate in this great event. Next up are the individual awards for this season's WJC. These awards are voted on by the tournament GMs and take into account both the round robin and medal rounds. First up, the DeMarcus Smyth Award, which is given to the Best Forward in the tournament. This season's DeMarcus Smyth Award winner is….. Lesgo Brandon @Dhoop of Team USA! Next up, the Harvey Danger Award for Best Defenseman. This season’s Harvey Danger Award winner is…. Pass Forfeit @esilverm of Team World! Our next award is the Peter Larson Award, which goes to the tournament’s Best Goaltender. This season’s Peter Larson Award winner is…. Valerian Sauveterre @Will3 of Team DACH! The Alex Andani Award is given to the Best Rookie in the WJC. The clear leader in this category, and winner of the Alex Andani Award for this season is…. Tom Pedersen @tomtommen of Team FinNorLandWay! Now it’s time for the big one for the players, The Brady McIntyre Award for the WJC Tournament MVP. This season’s Brady McIntyre Award winner and WJC MVP is…. Lesgo Brandon @Dhoop of Team USA! Finally we come to the Spotlight Award, which is awarded to the most dedicated user over the course of this season's WJC. The winner of the Spotlight Award for this season is….. @RAmenAmen GM of Team USA and all round top user!! Please join me in congratulating all of the award winners! Thanks again to everyone that participated in the voting process.
