In this deep dive, we will take a look at each of the Newfoundland Berserkers rookies and how they fared this season.

Round 1, Pick 13 - RD - Rasmus Bergling - 247 TPE
Bergling, the imposing Swedish defender, is a recreate of @JNH. He ate big minutes this season, averaging just over 20 minutes a game. Not seeing much special teams time makes his numbers that much more impressive. 8 goals and 23 assists for 31 points is nothing to overlook as a rookie D. Also having double the amount of takeaways over giveaways is a huge help for the team.

Round 2, Pick 24 - LW - Brennan Kennedy III - 282 TPE
BK3 comes from a long line of Austrian Kennedys in the league. The newest member sure made his presence known this year coming in and getting 25 goals in his rookie debut, as well as 15 assists, showing hes not just a 1 dimensional player. Goalies have learned to fear his shot, but also respect the fact that he can make a pass right on the tape to an open teammate.

Round 2, Pick 26 - C - Pope Coswi Jr - 195 TPE
Just 2 picks later, the Berserkers used their own pick to take @Coswi second gen player, Pope Coswi Jr. Coswi had a stellar debut, while his numbers may not suggest that at first glance. It's the intangibles where he really stands out. The player has no problem putting his body on the line for his team as evidenced by his 29 blocks and 102 hits. Look for Coswi to come back even bigger and stronger next season.

Round 4, Pick 48 - LD - Louis Perreault - 204 TPE
2 rounds went by before Newfoundland would hit the stage again, and hit it they did with this pick. A first gen player in Louis Perreault. While he may not be a max earner, a 200 TPE player in the 4th round is nothing to be upset about. A D that can dish the pick, Perreault picked up 18 assists this season. But his redeeming asset is his body as well. 67 shot blocks during the campaign, having him out there is like having a 2nd goalie on the ice.

Round 5, Pick 60 - C - Nate Dogg - 155 TPE
Round 5 saw the Zerks take a chance on another first gen, Dogg put up 20 points during the season, but unfortunately for Newfoundland, it seems the Dogg has found his bone and went home as shown by his inactivity.

Round 5, Pick 68 - LD - Ryanko Witunkey - 155 TPE
This round wasn't kind to Newfoundland at all. Witunkey is everything you don't want in a player. He was ineffective on the ice and looks to not be getting any better as the user has gone inactive as well.

Round 6, Pick 82 - C - Joseph Milone Jr - 155 TPE
And the (lack of) hit parade continues. Another player that is just a body on the ice that hurts the team more then helps and will only continue to damage as they get left behind further and further in TPE.
