The Pitch:
Are you looking to get some hands-on management experience in the SHL? Are you looking for something to do in the "offseason"? Do you like money and winning? Do you have a flair for creativity and role-play? Well look no further!
Great Britain is looking motivated individuals to help run the team! Duties include managing team awards and captaincy, talking to potential transfers, not breaking rules, discussing strategy with the war room, roster management, setting lines, and looking to the future! Of course, we'll be sharing these tasks and you'll have my insight and help on anything you need.
Who We Are:
Great Britain is an IIHF team with a history of success. While not as small as some of the other nations, we are still somewhat under-developed season after season. We are able to win medals despite our size by building winning teams with the help of transfers. Players are here because they want to play and they want to win. And because they know their leadership wants to win. Being under-developed can be a tremendous asset, as it makes us a great landing spot for players looking to prove their worth. We hope that you can help carry on the tradition of Great Britain in the medal rounds and boost engagement in Great Britain and in the IIHF as a whole.
Requirements:
- Must be transfer eligible (talk to your IIHF Fed Head first)
- Active in discord
- Compassion for others
Nice to Have, but optional:
- FHM8
- Thorough knowledge of the IIHF rules
- Experience in the SHL or other sim leagues
- Creativity
- Know who is the current monarch of Great Britain (I want to say it starts with an A?)
- Know which parts of the British Isles are actually the United Kingdom (Pretty sure Scotland)
Pays: $4m per season + bangers and mash.
