The Battleborn probably shouldn't have given Alexi Piastri an extra 3 million dollars to address the "teams needs". The primary focus of Piastri's spending will be on his private locker room, I mean the mechanical room. Piastri will be expanding this area by approximately 30,000 square feet, not an easy task in downtown Las Vegas. The new space will feature some interesting features. There's an Olympic sized swimming pool, Alexi's preferred method of training is swimming so this was one of the first things planned. A large percentage of the space will be used for a private outdoor wave pool that produces consistent 7 to 8 foot (Hawaiian scale), A-framed, fast breaking, powerful waves. Space is a bit scarce, so rides are generally limited to about 10 seconds. Piastri and other Battleborn players such as Mr. Gray T. White, John Brown, Ace Lightning, Alekks Ivanova, & Luka Nogoalov can be found here pretty much whenever they're not practicing on the ice. Some SHL players and pro surfers have made the paddle at Piastri's playground, but spots in the lineup are extremely limited and generally not available to anyone else. Piastri is now extremely in debt, but it was totally worth it.

I think the problem with the Maine facility as well as all minor league facilities is that the players are not well supported. This was seen in MLB where MiLB was shown to be getting glorified garbage for lunch. Because of this Meowski wants to avoid this for the Timber. First thing he is going to do is hire better chiefs as well as upgrade the kitchen for the players for Maine. Whether its a meal packed on a bus or what they get served before the game, if you eat trash, you play like trash. That would be his first priority as food should be a priority for more people. The second thing he would do, would be to improve the post game training facilities. This would include both the facilities the training staff has to use, such as tables and other supplies, but also the facilities that players get to use on their own. This would include upgraded ice baths as well as useable rehab pools for injuries and such. The rest of the money would probably go to fan experience because if more fans come, then more money will continue to come in to support the Timber.

Honestly this aint even a question Kayden Pale loves too spend time at the rink even outside of game or practice hours you can find him somewhere around the rink he is there as often as possible, he noticed though once coming back too New England they were missing Significant New England Culture with the food dishes and what you could find food wise at the rink there was no place you could get fish and chips, no lobster , no clam Chowder shops ,no Boston Cream Pie... how could this be we need little side corner shops where we sell goods out of which represents where we are at we will always tend else where for signature dishes of the homestate but man do we need a little bit at the rink ourselves like what is this, this accautly has inspired me too go on a journey with Kayden pale and find dishes located in different teams cities in SHL

I think that the salary cap definitely has it's cons, but overall it is an important aspect for hockey and the NHL. It keeps all the teams on mostly even grounds to succeed by not giving the bigger markets or teams with richer owners the ability to just bulldoze over everyone else by simply outspending the other teams. I look at something like soccer and I can see some of the appeal by not having a salary cap and letting the clubs spend with abandon, but you just kinda look at the mid-table to bottom table teams that have no chance at winning the league and will almost never have a chance at winning the league or something big unless they get new owners with tons of money, and it's almost like what is the point of even trying and competing with the big clubs when you aren't gonna get a sniff of anything? So im all for keeping the salary cap around to keep teams on a level playing field where every team gets a chance and team success more comes down to skill of management in building a team than how much money management has to build a team. Give everyone the same amount of money and see who uses it best.

Alright, there are are a few improvements Walton would like to get implemented. First off, the bulinding would need a new (proper Finnish sauna), as well as a small ice swimming pool. Both have proven health benefits, and especially when combined, it's a great way to relax and get some endorphins and dopamines going on your body.

The second improvement would be a Japanese-style capsule hotel for the players. Every player would have a cozy little pod, where they can go to take a nap, read a book, meditate, watch a movie or whatever they fancy. It would allow the players to stay relaxed and focused, when they can take a little moment for theirselves whenever they need to. Before or after a practice or a game, and maybe they could sometimes even spend the night there if needed.

Third one would be a state-of-the-art VR system. It could be both in the practice area, where you could do simulated drills to improve their skills, as well as in the lounge area, where you could just play all the fun VR games to relax.

I do not think you can just get rid of the salary cap in this day and age. Though I’m pretty annoyed that it’s not going up. Well, more than one million dollars. The biggest problem in the NhL are the owners. Could be said of any big corporation, but it’s the truth. The salary cap needs to be increased with the income of the league. Every year the league and owners make more money than they did the season before. But unfortunately like everything else in this country, that all stays with the richest. I am complaining about billionaires not giving millionaires enough money. What the fuck is wrong with people. Any who, the cap is a good thing. Because I don’t want to watch my team buy up every free agent and still be terrible. Been there, done that. In closing, salary cap good, keeping it the same year after year, bad.

I think the salary cap is definitely needed but I also believe it needs to be ever changing because having a pretty standard rate over a long period of time is rough on a lot of teams. It cap straps a lot of teams after the market has been reset so many times and the salaries just keep going up. Ideally it would be changing like every 4-5 seasons in my opinion, adjusting to what the market is looking like at the moment. As far as removing it thats a no go from me from the very start. Even as a fan of a team who generally spends lots of money it would set the league in a position where only the top market teams win everything and the lower teams would need some ungodly drafting, and retention of those stars, to have a shot. Those top market teams would just throw money at every problem. So it is generally a good thing for parity, somewhat.

Creative Prompt

I was tasked with upfitting and upgrading the St Louis manager’s office. At first, I thought I just spend $3,000,000 on stupid gold chairs and whatnot, but then I started thinking. What if I changed their entire office into something completely different? I began working on a plan immediately. First, we will rip out the far wall and extend their office into the conference room. Then, we will break down the far wall in the conference room into the player’s lounge. Next, we remove all the furniture from the office and conference room. We paint the walls to match the player’s lounge, add a few high top tables, arcade machines, and air hockey tables where the conference room used to be. We turn the general manager’s desk around to face the now extended player lounge. We add a big sign facing the manager’s desk saying, “Players Only.” Then I used the remaining $2,500,000 to give myself a bonus for all the hard work I’ve done. Please note that I did not re-finish any walls or clean up the ones I knocked down.

The NHL salary cap is incredibly important for the goals of the NHL, which is to create a league that fun to watch for all fans. If you think about it, it makes sense. Markets with all the money, like Original 6, canadian teams, and big city markets, would simply outspend the rest of the league like the Yankees did. Or more specifically, like the Red Wings did. Now obviously, money spent on players has it's diminishing returns on ticket sales, but playoff appearances and especially cup wins create future markets for your team that are hard to erode. You might wonder "Why should New York be hindered by a team like the Coyotes". It's a great question. What does the league actually get out of parity? Why should the worst teams still win 30% of their games? Well, the league itself is a big umbrella company. When teams suffer, the league suffers. That's why every team pays into the league and the struggling teams get money back. Just like with human beings, it pays to share your resources and give to those who need it for the betterment of society.

The NHL salary cap is easy to hate when it causes problems for your team, but I think it is absolutely necessary for the continued success of the NHL, which relies on parity to maintain competitiveness as well as entertainment value against more globally and locally popular sports. While we all know that hockey is the greatest sport on earth, the rest of the world hasn't caught on yet, even in North America. If the richest teams in the NHL were able to buy out the most skilled players every year and develop dynasties, we'd see some pretty intense and talented games between the top teams, but the rest of the league would quickly fall into the basement. As a result, local fans of those teams would gradually lose interest and follow their city's teams in other sports, where they actually have a chance to compete. In the pre-salary cap era, a remarkable number of NHL teams folded due to lack of financial success, and despite whatever opinions you may have about the modern league, its commissioner, or its many financial decisions regarding teams, the profit sharing, draft rules, and salary cap have worked together to create a sport that is competitive across the league and more widely viewed by people in America than it ever has before.

If we had a surplus of money, I'd ensure that the training and fitness facilities were the most up to date they could possibly be. Adding more ice baths, exercise bikes, brining in nutritionals specialists, and keeping the training staff happy would be my biggest priorities. Training and fitness is a huge part of the game that nobody really talks about, that and nutrition guides. Bringing in top chefs and really good food and having the players stick to a diet that will make them feel and perform better is the end goal. After that if we had any money left over, I'd bring in other fan amenities. Improving the fan experience, before, during, and after the game. This will help increase even more revenue so that we can have even more money to spend on the perform on ice. Big things like better food, more off ice entertainment, better drinks and better seats go a long way in a stadium.
