<div align="center">Mortensen-Dubnikov-Kuystad Expected to Contribute
Chuck Testa, Platoon Weekly The Platoon have already decided on their tentative lines, and one line that's looking to cause havoc for the opposition both offensively, and physically is the all rookie line of Tobias Mortensen, Andrej Dubnikov and Mark Kuystad. The three were selected in the S7 SHL Entry Draft and general manager Dylan Kearns expects each to contribute to the team, and make up for the team's losses. Player Profiles Tobias Mortensen - Center - #89 Tobias Mortensen, a Belgian Born/Danish center, had a lot of hype going into the season, but he just couldn't find his game. His time was split between the Washington Patriots, and the Boston Battalion. He had twenty-five points in forty-one games, including seven goals. After being traded by the Patriots in exchange for a couple of players and picks, Mortensen only attained two points in seven games. The best hockey he played was in the IHF World Cup before the start of the season. Mortensen showed a lot of skill, and it should be good news for the Platoon. One area that Mortensen excelled in was face-offs, where he won the majority of battles. Hopefully Mortensen will find chemistry with Dubnikov and Kuystad, or he could spend time with West Kendall's farm team, the always skilled, Montreal Impact, or even on the trade block. Code: S6 Statistics Andrej Dubnikov - Right Winger - #81 Dubnikov entered the league as a free agent, and was highly coveted by many teams, including Mortensen's Washington Patriots. In the end, he chose to sign with Detroit, and put up average numbers that would shock many people. Although that may be attributed to the lower ice time that he saw. Dubnikov will be relied upon to put Mortensen's passes in the back of the net, as thirteen of his twenty points were goals. Dubnikov is built like a brick wall, and he is a star power forward in the making. Code: S6 Statistics Mark Kuystad - Left Winger - #13 Kuystad is a tremendous power forward, but he was one of the best scorers in the entire NWJHL last season. He is a physical force every time he is on the ice, and is a point per game player to boot. He was the top scorer in the Impact's line-up, and he should be a good scorer as well with Mortensen feeding him passes. He may be a great scorer, but he is also deceptively good at making plays as well. He will be a threat to win Rookie of the Year in my opinion, and should be a top candidate for the Selke, despite his suspect plus/minus in the juniors. Code: S6 Statistics The Platoon may have lost both Alex Reay and Brandon Holmes this past season, but the fans and management will look to these three young guns to add some secondary scoring into the mix. If they click, chemistry wise, the Platoon should have no problem making up for the losses.</div>
