Hey guys, just wanted to give a little feedback if that's okay. First of all, I love the presentation and the transparency this season! The write-ups on the players were really nice, especially the way they were presented this season compared to in the past. The transparency was also a good thing, but as it often does, this also leads me to some criticism/questions...

Looking at the voting/ballots this season, it looks like there was quite a lot of group-think and very little variation between the individual ballots. For almost half the Awards, the same three people were on every single ballot and only two Awards had more than 4 people getting votes. When I compare it to my time on the committee a few seasons back, it does look like there was a lot less diversity in nominations this time around. I explicitely remember the defensive-minded Awards like the Bojo and the Dar as cases where different voters valued different stats, so we tended to end up with lots of different nominees for these, many of which were only considered by 1-2 people. This seems to have completely changed for example. One caveat of course is that we allowed 3-5 nominees per category back then (although people mostly stuck to three still) and nowadays you seem to strictly stick to three, so naturally that limits the number of nominees compared to the past.

Can you comment a bit on this? Is it simply a case of the top-players being crystal clear in a lot of categories, maybe due to changes in the competitive landscape? Have the relevant stats for the Awards been standardized in recent season, leading to less personal room for interpretation and more "objective" choices? Or do you think things can be improved about your internal processes that lead to people feeling more free or more inclined to explore options that might have flown under the radar so far? I know from my personal experience that it's quite easy for these kinds of internal discussions to not have a lot of people chime in early on, and then once one or two people do, everyone else just follows their lead and go with their choices, do you think this could have happened here? Or do you think I'm blowing this out of proportion, that enough good discussion took place and the nominees were just so obvious that it ended up this way?

With all that being said/asked, I still wanna say good job and thanks for taking the time to present things in such a manner, because me poking around wouldn't have been possible without your transparency, so thank you! This is not meant to shit on your work or the selections obviously, I'm just trying to help optimize the process because it feels like I'm seeing some of the things that were issues for us as well when I was on the committee, so maybe I can help with some of my own insights or learn that I'm actually wrong and that you found a better process than we had back then.
