Matiss has many hobbies outside of playing hockey. The hobbies that Matiss likes to do are play video games and go golfing. These are the activities that keep him the most sane.

Admittedly, Svoboda does not have a ton of hobbies outside of hockey. But he does like to rescue stray dogs he finds on a street, to the point where he now has 23 dogs at his home which he believes keep him sane (they don't).
