Quebec City has been a franchise that create activity. No matter what everyone thinks, it's the smjhl team that has earned the most TPE as a team since the portal. A lucky class? not really, i dont think we can talk about luck, it's hard work and dedication, fostering a community that annoy others that are out of it. In all case, it lead to great achievements in my opinions, with 2 cycle of players that culminated in winning a cup, along with a lucky run in between. This is what i want to talk about, those 3 runs, and what they represent for different classes in the Quebec City teams.

S58: D-6, Ship Sunk
The blessing of the SMJHL S55 draft class, (SHL S56). The last season of many of the players on the team. Ten of them, half the team. They all worked hard to achieve this moment, all of them capped, hoping to reach greatness with their fellow players. The season went great, but they did not finish first in the league, despite the power house of roster the team had. Finishing second however, meant to get a bye, saving one round of possible elimination. And we can say they sweat. It was not as easy as you can think it was. The Raptors came in with sharp claw in the Quarterfinals, giving them a run for their money. They however managed to fend them off after 7 games, but that was probably too close for the liking. The Knights were easier despite being the first seed in the league. The citadelles finished them in only 5 games to face the final boss. The Anchorage Armada was tall in their way, but after facing the titans that were the Knights, they Owls sunk them. Despite being 2nd seed, the fate decided that the owls were playing an away series. It meant they won at home, in front of their crowd. In the season, Mew Two was a star, but in the playoff, Tres Sombrero was brighter. Together, they brought home 5 trophies. The Alex Light, the Jared Hanson and the Elias Armia for the former. The Brodie Witzel and the Ronan O'Keefe for the later. It completed the King-Kurczewski and the Four Star Cup the Citadelles brought home that season.

S69: Blue Birds, Best Birds
An unexpected run, surprising a few. The Quebec City Citadelles were not bad, but it wasn't a culminating point for any classes that season. There was only 3 players set to age up after, so they were eying the next season. It was an amazing feat, however, to win the cup in the meme season. They will forever be remembered as the S69 champions (nice). The road was difficult, however. It had not been a run in the park. Finishing 6th in the league meant they had to go all 4 rounds. And only SimonT knew how hard the road ahead was. They faced up against the Malamutes to start with and the dogs tried to bite them hard. They shooed them away in 6 games, however. Then came the Big Bad Grizzlies. A bear is never easy to square with, and it almost cost them the playoffs. They fought all the way, after 7 games, the owls came out victorious. It was now time to face off the Berserkers, and the story repeated itself. Seven long game was what it took to win this serie, the most stressful games are always the 7th in a serie. After that, they were finally set up to face the Falcons. The red birds they faced off all season, who they saw finish ahead of them in the standing: first in the league. That season, the cup was won in game 5, in detroit, but the players on the ice celebrating were not dressed in red. It was White and Blue on the ice, lifting the cup. The King-Kurczewski and the Four Star Cup are locked. The league however celebrated Jack St. Clair with the Ronan O'Keefe and the Brodie Witzel, Elena Maximova with the Qhila Agante and Jiggle E. Puff with the Esa Anrikkanen. The GMs, Faelax and Ramenamen received the Nour Harrak.

S76: Owls in Lumberjack Plaids
Eight players facing graduation. Eight players that had fire in their guts, who wanted to lift the big trophy. Who wanted to see their hard work rewarded. The perfect start. The season finish with the Citadelles at the top of the ranking. Home ice advantage during all playoffs. The Knights were their first opponent. It ended up fast, in only 4 games. The team had eyes on the next opponent quickly, the Whalers. They prepared well, outting them in four games as well. The next step for them were to face the second place finisher in the league, the Berserkers. The series was not stressful, however, as five game is all they needed. The big opponent this season in the final: third seed Maine Timber. First game was stressful, finishing in Overtime, 4-3, for Quebec City. in the second, the Timber hit back, winning the game with a comfortable lead of 8-5. On away ice, the Quebec Citadelles had dominating performance, winning both away game 6-1 and 5-1. It was in their hand to finish at home and Celeste Dejardins answered the call. A hat trick is great, but imagine a hat trick where the culminating goal is not an empty netter AND is the game winning goal? A perfect night for the departing forward. this landed Desjardins the Ronan O'Keefe. The team, on their side, ran away with the Laurifer, the Linna Landvik and, of course, their most recent Four Star Cup.
