S78 mPT #1: Sometimes it is just nice to be a spectator Due: Sunday, August 18th @ 11:59 PM PST

If we're talking about strictly the summer olympics, then Trevor Lopez is a HUGE fan of gymnastics, particularly the floor and the uneven bars routines. However, if we're including winter, then Figure Skating reigns supreme.

Jarrow loves to watch the fencing and rowing/sail boating events the most of the Olympics. Speed walking too just because of the bizarre oddity of an entire sport where everyone so blatantly cheats.

Niclas was really caught into the great matches of table tennis this Olympics and has even taken up a bit of playing himself in the spare time in the wait for next tournament!

My player loves to watch football as it has a similar physicality to hockey and you get to see a lot of emotion from the players which he loves to see.

My player's favorite sport to watch at the Olympics (summer at least) is Shooting, which is a sport that South Korea does well in, and indeed did well in this year with Oh Ye-jin and Kim Ye-ji finishing one and two in the women's 10 meter air pistol category.

My favourite sport to watch at the Olympics is definitely breakdancing. I've almost been inspired enough to drop hockey and to chase the dream of gold in breakdancing.

Hopefully we can go with the Winter Olympics since hockey is listed as an option...

But for me, it is the bobsled or the luge competition. I think it is really cool to watch them come flying down the chute at close to 100 MPH. To be able to barely see, let alone steer with their feet, just blows my mind that there is not more wrecks and severe injuries.

I actually was able to see those competitions during the 1990 Winter games in France...and it was so awesome!

It is a very common misconception that the Olympics are over. In fact the Paralympic’s begin on Aug 28th. These athletes are hella impressive and deserve the hype as well.
Anyways, gymnastics, swimming, and Rugby 7s. Those are my go tos. I find them entertaining as well as they have quality hoomans to root for.

Not usually my favorite but track and field was extremely exciting to watch this year. Lots of good races. Basketball is usually a favorite for MattyJ as well.

I've only seen the Olympics for two very important reasons, first, to see Canada/Australia win some gold in their events and to see Olympic badminton live.

I love watching archery at the Olympics because it’s incredible to see athletes stay so focused and calm while the anticipation builds. The skill and concentration involved are just amazing to watch.

Agent Tesla: Alright then since the Summer Olympics just ended in the outerverse where my other self exists we are being asked what your favorite non-hockey Olympic sport is by the unseen interviewer, and so please do share Dave what is your favorite non-hockey Olympic sport to watch?

Dave Heinrich: Is speed skating an acceptable answer?

Agent Tesla: It is indeed.

Dave Heinrich: Then speed skating.

Agent Tesla: And why would that be?

Dave Heinrich: Swiftness on ice has always been something that impresses me and something I strive for personally.

Agent Tesla: That makes sense.

Derek really grew a particular appreciation for two sports, Rugby 7's and fencing. The former is just a raw physical ability sport, with strategy obviously but the sheer power of these athletes was extremely impressive. Fencing is all in the finesse, dexterity, ability, reaction speed and more in the details, and was a treat to witness fellow hoser Eleanor Harvey bring back the first ever canadian medal in fencing!

My favorite sport in the Olympics other than Hockey is the world cup because soccer is very fun and there is usually a different champion every world cup.

This gonna sound like a lame answer but Olympic basketball would be the answer. Sure it's pretty much the same as the NBA and doesn't have this once every 4 yrs feeling but still my answer
