I couldn't agree more, the goalie position is one of a kind. I can't think of another sport that has such a demanding position, both physically and mentally. For Lyle Odelein IV, he knows that his goalie is someone he needs to get to know and trust. His own goalie is the one he shoots the most against, every single practice / training session, they are both working together to become the best player that they can be. Having that tight relationship will help them both in the long run. There is no better person to learn shooting 'tips' than an actual goalie, someone who's job it is to stop pucks, they typically know what works and what doesn't work. So Lyle spends as much time possible with the goalies in NOLA, on and off the ice. He will also be the first to congratulate his goalie after a big save or a big win and on the flip side, he will be there to support them after a misplay or a loss. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | GP: 14 | G: 2 | A: 14 | P: 16 | +/-: +11 | H: 22 | SB: 24 | S: 13 PIMS: 14
