Staying focused is the biggest challenge for a goalie at any point in the game, and being successful at it starts the morning of the game itself. Justin Time goes through his pre-game matchup notes while having a light breakfast, then takes it pretty easy in the morning skate to save his energy. A quick snack and a nap afterward makes sure he's rested and ready to go. At the start of the game, he gets warmed up with some light shots off the pads and to his glove and blocker from the team, and then it's showtime. During the game, you take it one shot at a time, without looking at the scoreboard or trying to think too much about a particular shooter or play. When a goal inevitably goes in, he takes time to review it in his head, check to see if there was anything obvious he should have done, and then file away the info for later. No more scoreboard, it's onto the next play.
