Option 1:
I've never really been one for slashers or monster horror. When I was in the second grade, I went to a sleepover and watched an R rated slasher called "The Grim" about a mummy that murders a bunch of spellunkers who are trying to rescue their friend. It really made an impact and not in a good way. That said, without a doubt, any horror movie I'm involved in will be a psychological thriller. I finally got around to seeing Longlegs and while I found the second half paled in comparison to the first, there's so much tension, even in scenes where very little actually happens. I'm not going to pretend our little Anchorage Armada flick could pretend to such heights of direction, but they always say to dream big. The desolate cold and dark of an Alaska winter should make for a truly chilling setting. Imagine hockey players stranded in a small village, where one of them goes missing. |
