So why draft Gappy Hilmore aka dude_man?
That's the question you're asking yourself... And there is no good reason. End of article. No but in all seriousness, I am definitely taking the time to write this article as I am sure there is some hesitancy trying to draft a player that didn't even hit the minors cap with his last player. This time around I am definitely more dedicated as I created originally to help a user get recruitment money. Now with a newfound sense of motivation, I am definitely looking to earn way more than the minors cap lol. A little about me, I've been involved in sim leagues since 2021. I am an ISFL main, but I have so much wealth there that I am easily able to coast and not put much time into my player. Definitely looking to be involved here and make some new friends (and rivals) however! I'm also just a chill guy (insert chill guy meme here). My player name is pretty self explanatory as a play on words with Happy Gilmore (I can't believe they are making a sequel). It's the big what-if if he ever stayed playing hockey and was actually decent at it to be able to make it to the SHL. That's why I created him as a defense first wing player, but honestly I'm open to whatever (position, archetype, etc.) is best for the team. I didn't plan to make this a long media piece, but figured to at least tell you all who I am and why I should be included in your team. I'll start pumping media out here soon (either written or podcast form) once I get picked up as a TDL waiver and then enter the minors draft. Looking forward to interacting with some new faces and familiar ones (I know you're like a big person here or something @Frenchie). Thanks for reading!
