Is this for the love of the craft? The love of money? Or a hyper-fixation? Yes.

I’m back at it again, giving a spotlight to my fellow netminders of my draft class, recapping their season, their hopes for the playoffs, and maybe their future as a pro.

Goaltenders are in a unique spot in the league, and even to a degree in real life. With only two per a team, it can end up being very competitive even with fewer people to compete with due to the limits of the role on the team. The irony of it is that, despite how crucial they can be to a team (in real life), with many cup runs being won and loss on the shoulders of a hot goaltender. I think of Sergei Bobrovsky’s recent playoff success in Florida, Carey Price leading the Habs to the finals as underdogs, and for another example, the Leafs often having inconsistency in net being one of the (many) reasons they struggle to get out of round one.

A goaltender is a key to success for a team, which is why their priority both in real life and our fictional universe is curious to me.

They often fall in drafts. In the entire history of the National Hockey League, only three goaltenders have gone first overall for the draft, Michel Plasse, who had a respectable career, Rick Dipietro, who is still making millions each year despite not playing since 2013, and future Hall of Famer Marc-Andre Fleury. Often this comes down to the typical development time being slower for a goaltender than a skater. With a goaltender, you never know what to expect. The limited roles on a team also plays a part.

As for the SHL and SMJHL, a goaltender has not gone higher than 6th in the FHM era in the SHL, with that honour falling to Justin Time, current goaltender for the San Francisco Pride and man with a theory named after him. He was 5th for the SMJHL draft, and that record stood until some anxious beaver girl somehow lucked her way into a 4th overall selection. The point is that goaltenders don’t always go high, but selecting the right one can be a boon for your franchise.

When creating, I was torn between making a power forward, a two-way defenseman, and, what I ultimately decided and am happy with, a goaltender. I thought the position would be underfilled.

Then of the 76 players who are marked down as part of the S81 draft, there are 13 who chose to rule the crease. 17% of the class for a position which takes 11% of the in-game active roster (Smaller teams) or one 10th of an IRL hockey team. A bit higher than expected. Now, it is down to about 10 people I consider active.

This one goes out to our fallen comrades in the net.

The awesomely named Zakk Osbourne was a fourth round selection for the Highlanders, but he finds himself now a free-agent, having not changed anything in regards to TPE. Poor Zakk, abandoned, and now he is stuck cleaning Parliament Hill for money.

Then there is also Jason Lamy, someone who was created after, but was never picked up from waivers. Very lame-y for him, he is gone and forgotten by many teams.

Then waiver pick-up Lukáš Dostál, despite being on the St. Louis Scarecrow right now is marked as ‘retiring’ due to a serious case of ligma. So he is not going to be selected.

With that, I will be going through my fellow S81 goaltenders in reverse draft order from the J draft (With the lone undrafted player who is active) but with one exception I’ll go over first due to the unique circumstances with the user. I’ll go into how their player’s rookie season has gone with their team. Then, with the playoffs coming, see if they’re going to be a difference maker for their team in the playoffs.

But most importantly, go over not just their TPE, but their Bank Balance and ability to earn income along with any other relevant notes about them as a user. I’ll use this to predict their desirability in the draft. Trust me, I ain’t gonna shit talk to these guys, if anything if one of GMs or Scouts see what I say, decide to hit up the user and they click and end up on a team they enjoy, then good job. It’s a game. As users have told me, it’s not about where you get drafted (in terms of pick # at least) but how you use it.

On that note, let’s begin this trip through the net by going up to Thunder Bay with the Walleye.

Name: Jack Ryan
User: EddieIsNotHere
Team: Thunder Bay Walleye
Drafted: Round 2 Pick 23
Current TPE (Total): 265
Balance: $60,128,200
Recreate

S80:

With Grant Berd entering and soon exiting his final J season, Jack Ryan found himself in a back-up position to the 413 TPE veteran. Though not the team’s #1 goaltender, he found himself entering 35 games this season and had an okay game rating of 64. His save percentage ended at 0.885. This is respectable, especially given the team’s status in the league. Thunder Bay, feeling the ghost of Regina behind them, found themselves the fourth-worst team in the league, still firmly in a rebuild. The team has room to grow, only one of their 400+ TPE skaters in their final season, so support will come.

But their first round match-up is against a team who’s likely expected to be a North Conference finalist, Newfoundland. 2nd in the league during the regular season, almost destined to go against powerhouse Quebec City in the conference finals. I also expect Grant to be the starter in the playoffs. His role will most likely be the back-up, and I think if Berd gets run out of the net, Jack Ryan will be needed to stop the bleeding.

Beyond:

Eddie appears to be a high earner with an over 60 million bank account. Though he finds himself shadowing Berd in net with Ryan season one, as Thunder Bay hopes to climb the standings the rest of his J run, he is going to be a pivotal part of their run. Genuinely, I think a team would be fortunate to draft him-

But this answer is a lock.

Part of the reason he is able to have a strong bank account is that he is the current general manager of the Minnesota Monarchs. Therefore, the team from the State of Hockey, who are in the middle of a rebuild in the SHL, will use one of their later picks on his goaltender. They currently have a goaltender prospect in Ela Solberg. Ela does not seem to be a “max” earner, being the back-up to QCBot in QCC, but is an active user and can be a reliable goaltender of the future. This can be a benefit for the Monarchs with goaltending hopefully a non-issue in future drafts. If he was not the general manager of Minnesota, I think he’d be a solid-pick for a team looking for a future franchise goaltender. But for now, Jack Ryan hopes to push Thunder Bay to success in his J run and to be a reliable part of Minnesota’s future.

Name: John Gibson
User: 01Playz
Team: Detroit Falcons
Drafted: Waivers
Current TPE (Total): 256
Balance: $3,800,000
First Gen

S80:

Unlike anyone else on this list, John Gibson ended up joining the league post-draft and was a claim from waivers. His landing spot was on the worst team in the league. The Detroit Falcons are waist deep in a rebuild, likely going to end up with a top two pick in the upcoming draft. But, to give him credit, despite him joining slightly late, he was fortunate enough to get over half of Detroit’s 15 wins with 8. His save percentage is also 0.892 with a 69 (click, noice) game rating. This ended up being in part due to a strong stretch of play. Gibson found himself over-performing his TPE and has come out of nowhere to become Detroit’s likely answer in net for the future. The Falcons found an angel from above, and this thankfully was not Sephiroth or Kenny Omega, but their potential starter for the next three seasons all thanks to waivers. Good for them.

Beyond:

It is a shame then that they are locked into Carolina round one in the playoffs. The Kraken are one of the favourites to make it out of the south into the Four Star Cup Finals. No matter how inconsistent the FHM sim can be, it is unlikely that he can carry the Falcons to an upset. If he can eke out a win in a game against the Kraken, then it will be a pleasant surprise for them. Better days for the Falcons are ahead though. With a high draft-pick, hopefully finding a quality user, and more time to build your players, teammates will come.

Looking forward, unlike Eddie’s Jack Ryan, there is no rule locking him into going to a certain team. In any first gen, I imagine we as users are always a pandora’s box. You may either end up with a strong user with no prior loyalties, giving you a chance to get someone for your franchise on ice and beyond, or someone who will eventually go inactive. 01 also had slightly less time to make a strong impression. But with his limited time, he’s done well to make an impact in the league. He is active in the discord and has reliably gotten his money from chirping each week. He has done the activities for TPE from what I can tell and most importantly, has completed his two deep dives.

I think these are the signs of a solid user. The question now is if he’ll end up as a max earning user. Deep dives are one thing, but when there’s not this “requirement” to do certain activities, what will he do to get that extra income? Will he be able to find his spot where he can reliably get that extra money for training? That is to be told as some bonus weeks come in soon. Still, with him showing he can get chirping done, and is willing to do some things for TPE, I can feel comfortable in saying he is a pleasant surprise and a team can find an active user in him, maybe providing a stable force in net. Detroit, good job getting him.
Name: Linus Ully
User: Agito
Team: Anchorage Armada
Drafted: Round 3 Pick 44
Current TPE (Total): 267
Balance: $8,450,000
First Gen (?)

S80:

With Anchorage entering its last year with franchise goaltender PeanutButter Zamboni, they looked to the draft to find a back-up, one capable of tandeming. The best thing they found late in the draft is Linus Ully, named after the first good goaltender the Ottawa Senators have received in years. The user appears to be a first gen, however, there is an “Initial Bank Balance Import” seen on his balance, so it could be a new account for a recreate user. The Armada are in the middle of a run to compete with 6 players, including PBZ, entering their final SHL seasons. For Ully, he had to be a reliable back-up to help the team from Alaska remain in the hunt in a competitive North Division. He was able to do that with an impressive 17-7-3 record, 0.898 save percentage, and 2.99 goals against. Though sheltered, he was able to keep the Armada in the hunt, 3rd in the conference, and 4th in the league. Some argument can be made to the strength of the team in front of him, with 10 400+ TPE players in front of him, but the rookie found a role in his first year and did what was required.

Beyond:

Going into the playoffs, PBZ is going to be the man the Armada will rely on to get them to the Four Star Cup finals, but Ully has at least shown that, if the awesomely named veteran needs a night of rest, he can man the net well for a rookie and be in a position to give his team a chance to win. As PBZ goes off to Hamilton in the SHL, Ully will shift to a starting position on a team which will inevitably drop off next season, and even harder the year after. Anchorage will be heading to a rebuild and the support for Linus Ully will be fewer and farther between. That level of responsibility will be a real test for the user as he develops his goaltender.

Speaking of, due to the Bank Balance Import, he received a respectable leg up for his bank account, with him having 8.45 million as the regular season has wrapped up. From what I know, however, he has yet to do deep dives, but has been active in regards to regularly chirping and has a respectable 267 TPE for a first year player going into the playoffs. From what I can tell, he has also received money from a rookie task graphic, so if graphics is what the user is interested in, I can potentially see him going that route as a way to build his player up. While he has not gone above and beyond yet for money, with him being consistent in TPE and income earning from chirping and tasks is a good base level.

Name: Matt Retinol
User: Rockstarrancher
Team: Carolina Kraken
Drafted: Round 3 Pick 39
Current TPE (Total): 212
Balance: $2,075,000
First Gen

S80:

There are two teams which ended up drafting a pair of goaltenders in the Season 80 J draft. One of them was a team with championship ambitions. After drafting Honza Havran who had a mini-debut with the other team which drafted goaltenders, San Diego, Carolina looked late in the draft to find a potential goaltender to pair with Havran, with a low risk but potential high reward steal. This player was Matt Retinol. Matt performed very well in his rookie season, splitting the net with Honza and having a 0.900 save percentage, 21 wins, and a goals against average under 3.000. The Southern conference champions during the regular season appear to have a STEAL in net-

But this situation may be an argument that, especially in the J, the team in front of you plays a large role in how you sim as a goaltender. Distribution of TPE, the match-ups, and your overall TPE matters, but this player is currently at 212 TPE when most active goaltenders from this class break 250.

Beyond:

Looking deeper at the user profile, while they have not blown through all of their funds from their rookie contract this is due to what is likely a period of inactivity. The activity from what I can tell is 12/16/24, meaning for almost a month, this user has sadly not appeared. With later picks, it does feel like a toss-up between if you will find an active user or not. Listening to a podcast last night, two experienced users mentioned how it has become harder to find “quality users” later in the draft with a strong focus on the person in the draft process. If the user becomes inactive, then the chances of them being drafted is unlikely, or at the very least, they will be taken late after some passes.

Name: Meguru Bachira
User: bachirafan
Team: Yukon Malamutes
Drafted: Round 3 Pick 38
Current TPE (Total): 233
Balance: $100,000
First Gen

S80:

Though Meguru will find themselves in a back-up spot come the playoffs, they split the net with Jakub Alexa who is in their third year and at higher TPE. The third-year goaltender did struggle in comparison to previous seasons, so Meguru’s stats were comparable to Alexa’s. With 16 wins, with comparable goals against averages and save percentages, on ice, it would seem that Meguru was a hit, until you look at their account more.

Beyond:

If Bachira finds themselves in the net, I do not doubt that, if they sim in a similar way to the regular season, they will be a steady force in the playoffs and the Malamutes do have a winnable but challenging first round series against the Kelowna Knights who have a win-win situation, owning Yukon’s pick. They are sure to want to knock out the underdogs in this match-up to get a lottery pick. Though Bachira may not be the #1 option in net for the Malamutes to win round one, and sadly, might not rise up the draft rankings.

As you can tell by the balance, the user is not much of a high earner. As of now, with no deep dives, no media, there is not much to tell about the user’s levels of engagement and ability to build a bank account to help develop their account. Though there are some recent chirps, so the activity is not zero and they are not inactive, SHL teams may not have Bachira as a first choice in regards to a potential future goaltending. But we hope this user proves the writer wrong.

Name: Matti Brynjarsson
User: Ivornen
Team: Great Falls Grizzlies
Drafted: Round 3 Pick 37
Current TPE (Total): 262
Balance: $17,860,000
First-Gen

S80:

The Great Falls Grizzlies have not had a strong season, finishing near the bottom of the league and they are going to have a rough round one in the playoffs with their opponents being the defending champions. Matti’s season, with his team, was not the most remarkable. He only found himself in the net for 26 games, having just four wins. His performance was respectable, with a 0.893 save percentage and goals against average only a bit higher than the second year he found himself behind. But with a third round pick, you tend to have not quite as high expectations in regard to how they will perform.

Beyond:

In the end, Great Falls will not be making it out of the first round of the playoffs. The real question is whether or not it will be a sweep, or the Grizzlies will be able to get a win or two. Matti likely will not be the team’s starter in net for said run. But the future's looking brighter.

As a first gen user, she finds herself with a very solid income of 17.8 million, something which can cover her for a season at least. She has been active in regards to creating graphics and posting media, seeing a couple paydays this season thanks to her work. To get that in a first gen third round pick is huge and is going to set yourself up for success down the road, being able to potentially match or exceed the earning capabilities of their tandem partner, Martin Mackerelmore because… despite Big Newf’s bank account size, he is currently marked as “inactive” on the portal. Here’s hoping he comes back, but this period of inactivity means that he may lose out on some development even in a return and this can be a positive for Ivor. Much credit to Great Falls and their scouting for getting her.

If Ivornen ends up late in this draft again, she could be a steal of a pick for a team, but if I was a betting girl, I’d think she’d jump up a few spots at least.

Name: Cauliflower Pizza
User: ByrdeMan
Team: San Diego Tidal
Drafted: Round 3 Pick 35
Current TPE (Total): 271
Balance: $15,050,001
Re-Create

S80:

While the Pineapple on Pizza debate rages on, people didn’t appear to desire Cauliflower Pizza, with the goaltender being a third rounder. San Diego had a busy draft and ended up picking two goaltenders, the other going 10th overall. With two rookies, San Diego had a decision to either pick one as a starter or to tandem them, and they picked the former as opposed to the latter. With a more limited sample size, only appearing in 26 games, Pizza did solid having stats comparable to his fellow rookie. 68 game rating, 3.61 goals against average, and a 0.894 save percentage. You could argue he was on par with the Triplet in net. Whether that will translate into more playing time in future seasons is yet to be seen, but for a rookie back-up, Cauliflower Pizza did strong.

Beyond:

Unless San Diego decides to go all in on B-U-S-T (Who is not a bust) their goaltending is locked in for the next four seasons and even if Baldur gets more starts in the playoffs, a night Pizza is in net will not be a write-off for the Tidal. If anything, in terms of raw TPE right now, Pizza is slightly ahead of Baldur, meaning the back-up may force the hand of the San Diego Tidal to rely on him more in the future. They are currently matched up against my Nevada Battleborn in round one of the playoffs. Two teams who finished low the prior season, now finding themselves on the rise, finishing in the middle of the standings. Trying to remove my own personal stakes in the series, I think this can be an indication of two potentially strong teams in the years to come.

Looking at the user himself and beyond, Byrde is a recreate who has been part of this site for ten years with multiple Challenge cups and Four Star cups. If a team is looking for someone who is reliable, has experience as a user and who is going to stick around, Byrde is a great get. I think a team who has a few first gen users could use Bryde as a veteran force in the locker room to help if they have questions. Depending on team needs in terms of users, I could see him end up at a higher draft spot and potentially be a starter on a team against the current goaltender he teams with.

Name: Honza Havran
User: Raven
Team: Carolina Kraken
Drafted: Round 2 Pick 24
Current TPE (Total): 273
Balance: $16,058,000
Re-Create

S80:

Giving support to the idea that being a goaltender results in a drop in draft placement, this is an example of Carolina getting a second round steal in a recreate, Honza Havran, Raven. I’ve seen on the portal that Raven, as a skater, was a high draft pick for the J and SHL drafts. So this user is a lock. Carolina also ended up drafting a player who is a genuine contender for rookie of the year. 27 wins, 2.43 goals against average, 5 shutouts, and a 0.913 save percentage in the high scoring J. Though, as mentioned with Havran’s back-up, the quality of the team in front of you does play a role. The stats of Honza are also “min-maxed” to be focused on the best stats. This matches what the meta is.

Maybe I should have taken notes? Oh well.

The rookie season of Honza Havran was phenomenal. I would not be surprised if they pick up hardware.

Beyond:

Carolina, with the top seed in the south, are expected to compete further with only one or two graduating players. Right now, Quebec City is the belle of the ball in the league, but the Kraken may emerge as the next final boss for teams to beat. With Honza Havran being only a rookie, I expect this goaltender to be the key to their success for the next two to three years. They may have split time during the regular season, but with the gap in TPE, and the levels of activity, Havran may be leaned on in these playoffs. Then next year, who knows what the situation will be in regards to a back-up goaltender.

As the SHL draft looms over us, there is a possibility that Raven, along with the other two goaltenders mentioned below, could end up being the first of the position drafted, if not, then still early in regards to netminders. With 16 million in the bank, there is the capability to earn TPE and that can help Raven jump up a few spots. There is also a connection from previous players to New England and Toronto, who could find comfort in a user who has a history in the franchise.

Name: Baldur-Ulysse Söderberg-Tremblay
User: Jurt
Team: San Diego Tidal
Drafted: Round 1 Pick 10
Current TPE (Total): 264
Balance: $216,580,973
RE-Create

S80:

After Nevada shocked the world with picking Claude L’Castor fourth overall as a goaltender, San Diego decided to collect the second of the triplets drafted in Baldur-Ulysse Söderberg-Tremblay. They would later draft the third triplet (due to GM rules) thus completing two thirds of their infinity gauntlet. Despite a back-up of approximately equal strength, the Tidal rolled with BUST as their starter throughout their rookie campaign. By the end of the 66 game campaign, BUST ended up with a 20-20-8 record, a 3.94 goals against average, an 0.896 save percentage with a shutout. Given San Diego’s status as a rebuilding team last season, they have shown great improvement with their goaltending now being a stable force for the team.

Beyond:

I have little doubts that BUST will be the starter in the playoffs for the Tidal and for the next few seasons. I do believe, with Pizza showing strengths as well, there is a chance of them tandeming in the future, but call it Triplet bias, the goaltender of the family will be the go-to-choice for San Diego as they face the Nevada Battleborn in the playoffs and potentially later rounds.

I’m also confident to say that, as a user, JURT will go far with this recreation. Three users in the community tying their players together with lore just shows the passion they have and with his monstrous bank account, he is set for a good portion of his player’s career. A team would be lucky to have him as their team’s future franchise piece in net and the conversations I have had with him have been positive. The question is: Will he end up with some of his “siblings” on his team?

And will he run into… A DAM!?
Name: Claude L’Castor
User: Beavie
Team: Nevada Battleborn
Drafted: Round 1 Pick 4
Current TPE (Total): 277
Balance: $62,410,000

Well, you are your own toughest critic, right?

S80:

In a move which surprised many draft boards in the rookie Discord, Claude L’Castor went 4th overall to the Nevada Battleborn. Though many expected him to be among the first goaltenders drafted, somehow breaking the FHM era record for highest goaltender drafted in the J was not something many expected (Let alone me). Nevada chose to tandem him with goaltender with no last name, Jack, in what experts are describing as a “Certified Mudkip Moment.” Both goaltenders started an equal number of games during the season.

Even their records were equal at 16-16-1. But in regards to who performed better, the rookie gets the nod with a 3.76 save percentage, one shutout, and a 0.885 save percentage. There were some bad “clunkers” as I call them for Claude near the end of the season, dropping his GAA and save percentage which would have been around 0.890 or 3.50. Is it disappointing? A little, but in the end we are at the whims of a simulation and this team is just now exiting its rebuild.

As I am a first-gen player, this season was a learning experience for me. I’ve been learning about the routine of the league, trying to meet new people, see what is out there as options for me. I set my expectations low, and generally exceeded them (Part of me expected we would be near the bottom of the league knowing ‘my luck’). But I’ve learned to try to stay positive during our up and down streaks during the season, and try to celebrate the team’s success, and not just my player’s.

Beyond:

As previously mentioned, the Nevada Battleborn are against the San Diego Tidal, a team we did well against in the regular season, but a team also on the rise who will be a strong match-up. With us running a tandem during the regular season, I think there is a chance that is the case in the playoffs unless one of us has a strong run. During a stretch of the season, after an initial rough start, Claude ended up leap-frogging Jack in terms of production after Jack himself had a strong start. The San Diego series could go either way, but a potential match-up with Maine in round two could be too much for the team.

After this season, the future is yet to be seen for Claude in Nevada. With Jack being one year up on me, he has a higher cap for the next season. But with a negative balance, while still active, he may not be quite a max earner as of this time and the gap between our goaltenders has shrunk. I could see one year where he is leaned on more before Claude’s cap matches him and is able to be an equal in raw overall.

Then… The draft.

I would rather not predict my landing spot, team or place on the draft board. The moment of getting drafted 4th came as a shock to me and since learning about how out of the ordinary it is for a goaltender to be drafted that high, I was especially shocked. I’m appreciative to my GMs for taking a chance on me and will do my best to be a good member of the team and as part of this community. I will not bank on matching that draft ranking for the SHL Draft in several weeks. With upwards of three more seasons in Nevada, goaltending might not be the first need a team attempts to fill.

What I will say for now is that I am in a position where I am able to earn well for the first seasons of my player’s career with my balance and I enjoy the creative side of things, writing my “stories” for Claude when I get inspiration and articles like this. Where I end up in regard to team is more important to me than a draft ranking.

The order in which I would be taken as a goaltender with my class is also not guaranteed with several wonderful members in the crease of this draft. I believe JURT and Raven alone are two members who I would not be shocked if they go higher than me. Then add Ivor who has been a late round steal, ByrdeMan being strong despite finding himself in the back-up position in San Diego, and even 01 being good value for a waiver pick-up.

Conclusions:

From what I understand, the prior SHL class, season 80, was one with much hype. This class, though heavy in centres (25 Centres right now, holy crap) may be one where some future franchise goaltenders emerge. There were three goaltenders from the 13 which found themselves cast off. One of the remaining ten appears to be heading towards inactivity and another is around, but may be left at the wayside. What do we have left to look through?

An SHL GM, with creating a goaltender, is able to create one less worry for his team in a rebuild in Minnesota while, in the meantime, trying to lead Thunder Bay out of the shadow of Regina. As PeanutButter Zamboni is ready to go pro, Linus Ully is poised to have big shoes to fill in the upcoming seasons for Anchorage. Carolina, having the favourite for rookie of the year in net for the next three seasons, will be able to remain competitive and be a team to beat as they hope to fell the beasts from the north. Detroit, struggling through a rebuild, has found a stabalising force in Gibson. Great Falls, with a starter potentially going inactive, have found a late pick show he’s capable of showing up. San Diego ended up finding two goaltenders who are good to great as they rise up the standings, a luxury for many teams. Then Nevada took a chance on this anxious beaver here and I’m determined to show they were right with making that selection as we continue to grow.

In going through this thought exercise, I wondered if the quantity of goaltending prospects this class led to quality and sure enough I found some pleasant surprises. From recreates looking for a brand new experience in the SHL, to First-Gens like myself finding a passion for the league, S81 may be the year of the backstops.

Several SHL teams as of right now do not have a goaltender prospect. For the rest of the teams, there are some who already have a quality prospect, then others may be looking for more options in regard to the position. There is gold to be found at the crease in this draft.

The next few weeks we will watch with anticipation as our players step on the ice for playoff hockey for the first time and we hope to hear our names called in the SHL draft.

S82, please create some good defense for us.

Thanks for listening to my Beav Talk.

Also @ByrdeMan has the best render by far and I hope we get a 2k card!

I had a good belly laugh when I made it, but I hope he makes it far on the render alone.

holy media

don't undersell yourself you've been nothing but amazing! wouldn't be surprised if you were the first goalie in ages (I don't know if there was any goalie since Justin Time) to go top 6-top 10 :D

@Beavie To answer your question about myself, when I joined the SHL, I had created another goalie in honor of Tim Thomas. Having had personal problems in my life so soon after his creation. I therefore did not delve deeper into the development of this player and he consequently became an AI.

I am back and I wanted to redo a goalie and delve deeper this time. I want to understand the complete system of the SHL before starting a job and have more experience.

Thanks! Figured it was nice to see how my fellow goaltender rookies faired and pretty happy with the quality. And come on, long live the Kazoo!
