Deep Dive 1 - The Beginning of the Fishman

Ryan Fishman was born. February 29th 2006, to John and Jane Fishman. John grew up a huge Manhattan Rage fan while Jane was not that into hockey but enjoyed watching with John. That is how Ryan fell in love with the game. While Ryan was little he would go to the rink and watch John play beer league on the weekends. As Ryan grew older, John noticed his natural talent and put him in ever and all hockey programs that they could afford. As Ryan continued to rise up through the Ranks of youth hockey, parents and teammates alike knew that he had a chance to make to the show (SHL).
The year prior to Ryan being drafted, he and his parents got into a terrible car accident leaving a hockey tournament in Lake Placid. Unfortunately, John was killed but luckily Jane and Ryan survived. Jane only had minor scrapes while Ryan broke his leg and had to sit out an entire season. When Ryan was fully healthy he entered the waiver wire for the SMJHL in hopes to be picked up and make an impression for the next SHL draft. Ryan was so excited when he heard the Nevada Battleborn had claimed him and he able to get back to playing the game he and is dad loved so much. Ryan has decided this and all his future hockey season to his mentor and father John. He hopes to continue to make his dad proud. When Ryan scored his first professional goal, he gave the puck to his mother Jane who has never misses a game.

@hhascoe this is only 267 words long, it needs to be 500 words. This is also more of a media, you need to dive into something not just discuss character backstory.
