It is with great sadness that I tell you all that I will be stepping down as the GM of the Maine Timber and taking a step back away from the SHL. I have been in charge of this team for 17 seasons and each and every one of them has been an absolute privilege to be a part of. I have to start off by thanking a few people that believed in me enough to give me this shot and who have stood by me through my time in charge here. @Toast, @Citizen of Adraa, @CementHands, @KaleSalad, @TheGreatToeJam, and @MikeLiut. You all believed and supported me so much throughout my time and I will be forever grateful.
To the players that I had the privilege to manage. You all have been so amazing and made being the GM of the Maine Timber the best job in the entire SHL. The success I have had with so many of you is something that I will cherish for an extremely long time. I have always taken pride in the ability of this organization to always be competing for a cup and to never have to go through a rebuild. I leave the team now in what I believe is a position to continue that success with a War Room that is strong and management that is eager to bring the cup back to Maine.
I want to end by simply sharing some stats that we have got to experience as an organization over these past 17 seasons. I share this with you to show just how proud I am of what has been accomplished here and so that all that have been a part of this journey know how truly special these past 17 seasons have been. 724 career wins, 4 Four-Star Cup Championships, 7 Conference Championships, and many other notable accolades that we have experienced. This time has been special and it has been worth all the work that has gone into making it possible.
This organization will always hold a special place in my heart and I look forward to watching the success continue for many seasons to come. Thank you all so much for everything and for one last time “IT’S GOING DOWN AND I AM YELLING TIMBER!!!”
I really hope you'll come back to us some day! But please do take the well deserved rest. We could always hope that Maine would be less terrifying without you, but I know your spirit and legacy will live on through that team. Maine will be scary forever!
Without a question the best Maine GM of all time. Unbelievable how you changed this franchise and I couldn't be happier to have seen Maine in such capable hands. It's been an honor, and I wish you the very best in the future.

Even by only being here a month or two, I've heard so much about the success of Maine. You built that and to all that, I give my respect. Enjoy the time away from the SHL, and whoever follows you will have big shoes to fill.

Never met someone not on my team who I’ve held so much respect for, and who’s been so kind and supportive - you’re a gem, Southpaw, the shoes might be too big to fill.
Sad I never got around to writing the article about how bad the Maine Timber are and why you're the worst GM in the league.
Thanks, SouthPaw, for answering all my newbie questions and participating in my weird GM interviews. You were one of the first people to reach out to me and help me through the initial stages of my SHL experience. I appreciate that! Best of luck with whatever adventure awaits you.
