2. Truth be told, I think it was an alright change. I do not know exactly what you would expect for an answer but I do think the idea of having four teams is good. Would not say that I care a lot for it, not my nature to care for All-Star stuff but I think it was a better outcome. (61 words)

3. To spice up the new All-Star format even further, I would introduce celebrity players. That’s right, in fake hockey, with fake players, we are going to introduce irl celebrities. We can contact them and give them XXX TPE and let them apply that as they see fit to their player. And then that celebrity player can be a star in fake hockey too! I’m sure the registration list will be very long, but we may need to start with small or local celebrities and work our way up to Jason Samoa and Dwayne Johnson. I do think we should implement a rule that if that celebrity (or a character they played) is being used as a player or render they are INELIGIBLE to be a Star All-Star in All-Star week. Sorry but sometimes life is not fair and I don’t want to deal without doppelgangers and confusion. I am already confused enough.

ATL could field the best first line because in the order of ROYGBIV (rainbow) they are the most red (based on the teams the players are coming from) in my opinion and I also think that will directly correlate to a best first line. Not to mention they also have some solid players stacked on their team. That might help a little.

I think that Bojo Biscuit should be the cap of ATL because “Bojo” has similar vibes to “NoJo” and I’m pretty self centered and egotistical so I like that name.
In regards to CTL I obviously am going to pick a Winnipeg alum (remember, self-centered) and therefore I will pick Noah Smith because his name is easy to write and does not require CTRL+C and CTRL-P like most of the other names would.
NTH cap has got to be Shootin Blanks because with that name? You know he’s just gaslighting people and he does not in fact shoot blanks. And we want the cap to be ready to actually shoot so, Shootin Blanks it is.
PCF gets the honor of Justin Time as the cap. I like the name, and remember, when you vote for cap it's all a popularity vote after all! And since I’m the only one writing this prompt what I say goes!

Tell me about your teammate who made the all star expo! Who are they, why were they an obvious choice to make the All Star roster, and what do you expect from them this ASE? (If more than one of your teammates made the game, pick one of those players other than yourself. If you are the only player on your team selected for the all star game so far, write who else should had been picked from your team.)

I’m fortunate enough to be a member of a team with three skaters selected to be all stars. As much as I’d love to highlight all of them, the one that stands out the most to me as the best and most obvious choice is Tony Soprano. A hall of fame player in the prime of their career. A down year for Soprano is still an all timer for the rest of us. I’d like to take some blame for it too, as I’ve regressed and can’t snap passes like I used to. Soprano is one of the best to ever do it and should be selected every season so the fans get to see it in person. Any player who gets me free assists as much as this one is among the best that our league has to offer. A great player with a great personality that will shine in the stupid media portion of the event.

Instead of a game between two teams we get a short tournament of 4 teams. Write your predictions for the 6 game round robin and the playoffs. Do you see it as anyone's game or is there a clear favorite among the teams? How much impact do you expect from the added Hall of Fame players?

A very exciting event that should bring the best out of the players, rather than a one off game after a weekend of drinking. I expect players from all teams to bring their A-game and give the fans a great show each and every shift. I would have to say that the clear favorite is the Atlantic division team, on account of them being the only team with three members of the Philadelphia Forge. Hell, the other teams don’t even have one between them. Very sad look for the other rosters as they will have to compete with the likes of Tony Soprano, Cale Salad and Ubba Lodbrok. It should be a trouncing for the ages as the Atlantic plows through the competition like a knife through… something that’s easy to cut. I expect the hall of fame players added to marvel at the sight of these prime athletes, fueled by cheesesteak and the statue of Rocky as the ultimate motivation.

2. I think the new format is kind of a mixed bag it's hard to really go one way or the other on it, but generally I'm in favor. There are a lot of people who put in the work every week to make the most out of their careers in the SHL and I do think it's important that there be some level of payoff in it for them; not every player gets to win a championship or MVP, and an all star nod is a nice nod to a well-played season that players can always look back on, and it's fairly inconsequential to widen the field so more players get to feel that sense of accomplishment. Of course on the flip side, if more people can earn All Star honors it might take away some of the prestige in some people's eyes which is a perfectly fair evaluation, but I kind of err on the side of "well it's just the all star game" -- it's supposed to be a fun exhibition of the league's top players, and if we've got a lot of talent out there, why not celebrate it? It's good for the players who get to feel that recognition, which I think means it's a net positive for the league.

8. The Argos were fortunate enough to send 3 players to the All Star Game this season, and I could write nice things about all of them, they're great stand up players who lead by example. But for the sake of keeping it short I'll focus on one of our captains, Shadow Fenix. Ever since I joined up with the Argos he's been a welcoming presence both on and off the ice, and as a fellow center, he's taught me countless things about the game and how to improve at our position. Leadership aside, if you look at his numbers this past season it really shouldn't come as any surprise that he was named an All Star -- averaging over 1 PPG with a team-leading 81 points on 31 goals and 50 assists, thanks in part to a super impressive 19.3% shooting percentage, Fenix was the man driving the Seattle offense the entire way and was a big part of why we finished 5th on the season; probably a decent bit ahead of where many others would have projected us. I'd expect to see more brilliant shooting and playmaking from him not just in the All Star game, but those in subsequent seasons; he won't be going away any time soon. Go Seattle!

Elly believes that the team captain should have a number of qualities, but that the captain can be anyone. Captaincy should not be restricted to any one position on the team, and the captain should not consider themselves above any member of the team. A true team captain embodies leadership to guide the team to their goals from wherever they happen to be, and should be able to earn/carry the respect of each of the team members. A goalie can be a captain, a winger, can be a captain, a defensemen can be a captain, but they stand as a voice of the team. Elly would also say that they need the ability to analyze and understand the field to help make calls when possible, and also they need at least a little charisma, in order to act as a face of the team between games and off the ice. As captain, they are in the eyes of the public, and thereby represent the team, even if they don't intend to. All very important points for a captain, but lastly Elly would also say that a captain needs to love head pats too. How can someone be captain if they don't share the love with all the players and act in a friendly manner. Elly also claims to be unbiased in this last factor for criteria.

While I do have a slight bias, I do still say naomi deserves some sort of small award for being a really dedicated user. In my experience with drafting and interacting with other members, everyone knows her. she has recruited me and at least 3 other friends if not more, and is constantly helping me apply TPE and offering to help me write (a failing of mine thus far). Recognition is deserved <3.

I am quite the fan of the new All-Star expo format. It allows you to see players represented from multiple teams for the 4 team tournament and instead of seeing guys get snubbed so to speak, since before it was only two teams, now you get to showcase even more talents and get more guys more time on the ice while everyone gets to enjoy such a great weekend of festivities. I love seeing more and more changes to the All-star format and love being able to see more friends being recognized for how great they were on the ice during the season, and hope it can continue to strengthen and change so that we can continue to see more fun times for the all-star expo weekend. Because honestly, its all about fun at the end of the day, and adding more players and making it a tournament style adds more fun for everyone involved.

Being apart of the Winnipeg Aurora, we got to see quite a few of our friends make the All-Star Expo. Honestly, if it was up to me, how great the locker room has been I would add the whole team to the All-Star team, but since I can’t, I guess who was selected was perfect. We get to see Ron Mexico, Jason Visser, Langston Hardison-Luarent, Juan Tymer and Noah Smith all get to represent the Winnipeg Aurora for the CTL. I love being able to watch all my homies and cheer them on and make sure they are having a great time. They were all obviously great enough to make the All-Star Expo and I can’t wait to see what they bring to the ice and are able to showcase their talents to show the league why the Winnipeg Aurora are on the up and up and are ready to surprise the league in what we can do and accomplish.

8 (212 words, 4 TPE): The player who made the All Star Expo from my team, the Vancouver Whalers, was Aaron Noxus. When looking at his stats I don't think it's hard to see why. He led the team in points with 63, a full 14 ahead of second place. He was the team lead in both goals and assists as well, putting up just under a point per game. He was also one of our most physical players, really embodying the power forward role. He was second on the team with an impressive 127 hits, which is incredible for a player that scores as much as he does. Then there's the things that you don't see on the I've but that matter a whole lot as well. His attitude on the bench and in the locker room. His optimism within games and ability to keep us engaged and our spirits up. His ability to focus the team on a common goal and keep us from getting demoralized. All those things elevate the team at an incredible level and we're lucky to have him on our roster. Hopefully next season our stellar goalie can get the attention and respect she deserves from the rest of the league and join Noxus at the all star game as well.

11 (101 words, 2 TPE): Hey Mom, I know you were upset I wasn't coming home for longer this offseason, but I really feel like if I put in the work this summer I can seriously elevate my game. The defensive side of my game has come along nicely but I need to put in the hours working on my shot so I can contribute some more on offense. If I can get to to around 40 points this season I think we'd really be able to win a bunch more games. Really 50 points would be incredible but I'm trying to keep my goals realistic.

I think it should be like how they used to do it in the NHL like having each division have a team of 2-3 lines and battle it out. It would be very interesting tho because The Pacific and the Atlantic are filled with talent but if we were also adding HOF Players that would make each division very strong but personally if I had to pick I think the Pacific would still have an edge in play and personally my standings would be #1 Pacific #2 Atlantic #3 Central #4 North East even with the added HOF players added to each team.

Mel Guolla in Kelowna Knights is the most unexpected player in my opinion. A player, center who has done some points, best in Kelowna. but also is -9 in the +/- column. Its not the worst in that team, but it is not the best either, by far. The Kelowna runner up, when it comes to points is only five points behind. And was +8.

Hello there mother. I know you have been waiting for this message, or atleast a message to come your way in one medium or an other. I have chosen to write a leter so that you cant yell at me When I tell you my offseason plans. Because I dont think you will like them.
I got a total of six weeks vacation this year. And it will be soo nice. The first week I aim to do a deep cleaning of my house. You know how it is. I havent done it in a while with the work taking most of my energy and time. And at the same time as I clean the whole house, deeply I will go over my closet, throwing or donating clothes that I dont use any more. Not to by more, but to have it better organised. It will probably not take the whole week, but hey, I got free time.
The weeks two and three I and some people from the team will spend at a expensive hotel on a private island somewhere the sun is shining. I dont know exaktly where it is but when I got the invite to join I couldnt say no.
Week three is as you probably figured out the same Week as your birthday, So I wont attend it if you made some plans.
But on the other side I will come home for week four and five. So we can celebrate it a lot of times, just not on the correct day.
The last week my plan is taking it easy and start up the training a little. But I heard some rumor in the lockerroom that there might be a welcome to the team - paintball fight in the new rookies honours, so that is a maybe.

I don’t have any issues with the new format. I think it actually makes it so more people can make the All-Star game, which I think is something a lot of people like. Plus for the fans, they get to see more players and possibly more of their favorite players. I don’t really have an issue with that whatsoever, but I do think it kind of takes away the appeal of being an All-Star. I was always one that believed being an All-Star was special and important. When you start making it about representation for teams or having a lot more people included, it takes away some of the uniqueness and meaning of making it. I think it is great, but it diminishes what being an All-Star really means if there’s too many people involved. 80 players from around the league are included, that’s way too much, and that should not be the case. I like it for the fans, but as something that could go towards players’ career achievements and possibly getting votes in the HOF, it’s not as prestigious when there’s so many players included. I still hope everyone has fun and enjoys their time there, but I am curious to hear what others around the league think of this many players making it.

Task 8 – 3 TPE

I’ll go ahead and talk about Elena Maximova. This is a teammate who has been absolutely incredible for us in LA, someone who can literally play in any situation and has constantly made the team and the players around her better. I can’t say enough about her. I have been fortunate to watch her play for a long time now, and it always amazes me how effortless everything looks. You can be watching some of the toughest minutes and matchups, and somehow it looks easy and simple. When you get on the ice you realize the level that she plays with and it really makes you realize how much better she is than everyone else. I think it’s an excellent choice for the All-Star Game and I don’t really expect too much because she’s also thoughtful enough that she probably wants it to be fun out there and make the fans enjoy it, so I’m not expecting some blocked shots and some big hits.
