Nostradamus has been training hard this offseason. With free agency out of the way and a new home he has been training real hard both w his new teammates in san fransisco and by himself. He has been hitting the gym real hard this offseason so we all expect him to come more physically fit to start the year. Outside of the san fran guys, he actively helps in the training for nevada as well. Showing the new young defensemen tips and guiding them to be better 2way players. this season nevada has a whopping total of 5 rookie defensemen so his work is cut out for him in showing all those rookies the ropes of net front battles, corner pick pickups, and walking the blue line. my player loves training the rookies since it gives him a better idea of what he'll be up against in a few seasons time when they all transition into the shl.

Erik Johnson has the most high level FOMO ever, he sometimes refuses to let his teammates use the bathroom alone as he fears what he could miss, however he doesnt wanna train in a specialized facility with his teammates, hell go to local rinks when theyre almost entirely empty and run drills with his teammates pretending to have pucks and sticks. Erik Johnson SWEARS by this, you can feel the puck hit your stick after a while, you know the timing, you know the pace, you know whats going to happen, adding the physical element later in team sanctioned practices becomes that much easier, plus on public ice you can still run 2-1 drills, even the rest of kelownas LR thinks this is ridiculous, but they dont like to play defense anyway, this is purely an excersize for him, its an entirely selfish endeavor, to practice everything defense whilst still being frugal

Julian Flörsch has changed his offseason routine a bit over the last couple of seasons. When he was younger, he tried to use every single second of icetime he could get. Renting arenas with friends and teammates (former and current), meeting up with national team buddies and even hitting the ice with his high school friends back in Switzerland when visiting his family.

Now that he is getting older, the off season is more of a period for rest and recovery. Sure, he tries to keep fit for the new season and will do some shooting and passing drills, but he has also incorporated other forms of activity such as yoga and stretching. Julian's body isn't as young and indestructible as it used to be, and this helps him taking care of it while also working on keeping his head in the right place. Younger players may have an edge physically, but Julian is experienced enough to compensate with hockey intelligence and mental resilience.

Written 2: Langston went back to Switzerland to spend time with his mom’s side of his family. His mom took him on a grand tour of the country via bike and hiking up the alps, though Langston did object to the need to do as many hikes as they did. He got to meet his half siblings, Laura, Linda, Leon and Leslie Laurent, whom he only had talked to on zoom before. He was much more into the fondue tasting and the cheese platters that he ordered an abundance of as he needed it for the energy for all the activities. (Though his mom then insisted on more hikes to work off the food). While Langston does love his nice house in Winnipeg, he is thinking about purchasing a new summer in Switzerland. Plusbit never hurts to have a more permanent home just in case of a trade (if Luka is not safe, Langston certainly is not.)

I briefly mentioned my folks during last season's postseason bonanza, but I'm happy to introduce them again. Dad's a former professional Bundesliga footballer and a local fan favorite. He runs football training camps for talented kids and does some scouting work for his old club nowadays. Mum is a librarian, which is fantastic, as next to dirty football boots and stinky hockey bags, there were always loads and loads of books all over the place. She also made sure that I somehow managed to finish my A levels. I'm not sure what's in the cards after my hockey career, but if I don't stay in the league in some sort of position, I'd love to go back to university and study history. And that degree is gonna help big time with that. Couldn't have done it without both of them and I'm eternally grateful. No brothers and sisters, but a small close-knit family hovering around, with a special shout-out to my aunt and my nieces. We are also a parrot family. Dad loves them and when he hears that one is in need of a home he can't say no.

Written Option 1: Offseason is always time for rest but for those aspiring to be best it is also time to get together with the like minded players and push their training to the next level. Does your player train alone during the offseason or do they group up with someone else? Who do they train with? Do they rent a rink with their current teammates, maybe get together with old ones from the juniors or even just their buddies from the national team? Do they focus on certain things or take a more broader approach? How hard do they train? Who do you think runs the best or toughest bootcamp? Is your player invited? Would or do they go?

Chaewon has a close friendship with fellow SHLer Jennifer Huh so they reunite in the off-season to train and workout together to prepare for the upcoming hockey season. From their time training and rehearsing together in Le Sserafim they have gotten used to each other's training regime and routine so they have great chemistry together. They workout in the gym together helping spot each other while using the weight machines. When taking to the ice, they practice skating, puckhandling, shooting and ways to improve their play for the next season. Since Jennifer is already in the SHL and Kim is still in the juniors, Chaewon picks Jennifer's brain about how she got used to the SHL and things she did once she got the call up to their SHL team.

It will be fun to see when these two face-off against another since they have been part of a group for so long as part of Le Sserafim.

Dash Jackson usually keeps his family and life private, But for this special off season prompt, he is more than willing to share a little bit about his life. Dash Jackson is currently engaged to hihs long time girlfriend and high school sweetheart. Although they are not married YET (coming in October 2025) they have a beautiful 9 year old daughter who is the pride of the family. She is quite the handful like most kids are! We also have fur babies. A 6 month old Chocolate Labrador named Bandit, a Black cat named Binx and 2 Fish (can you name them?) Nemo and Dory of course!

My Parents are seperated, but both are still kicking. Dad supports me a lot and attends game when he is able to. Mom doesn't really attend (sports were never her thing) but we talk and visit often, My fiancés parents are both still kicking too, she is originally from Nova Scotia both her parents still live out there, so it's hard for them to get out to edmonton, but they do attend when i am in town playing the Stars.

Normand Marineau loves to go back home during the off-season to train with his team, so he is usually alone because he comes from such a small town. This allows him to clear his mind and work on the things he needs to improve from the previous season. He doesn't want to hinder anyone else's progression. But since Marineau is the biggest name to come out of his hometown, the rink is always available when he needs it. He loves to play with his childhood friends and with members and kids from his community. This is his time to give back to his people. It is usually during the early morning hours when you see Marineau working with the most intensity. He usually spends the early part of the off-season with a quite relaxed training regiment, with a lot of off-ice workouts. With the pre-season almost here, Marineau has ramped up the on-ice training with some of his Raptors teammates, which usually consists of a lot of skating and shooting drills.

Written Option 2:

If the offseason is long, Shaggy often splits his time between various places. Half of his family lives in Toronto and the other half in Finland, so he typically first does the big trip home over to Europe to see his mom, grandparents and sister plus all other friends he has there. That's just time to relax really, so it takes up a large part of the offseason. Most of these people only see him once a year which makes it an important visit. After that it's time to visit his dad and younger siblings in Toronto - together with his dog Rug who typically doesn't follow along the trip to Finland. Since Toronto is still like Shaggy's second home as it is also his official offseason training base. And why wouldn't he take advantage of Harry Carpet's training facility? It has always worked out over the years. However, as much as they like hanging out with family and friends, Shaggy and Rug need some important quiet time away from people every now and then so they often take at least a week off somewhere in the middle of nowhere and enjoy a vacation. This year it was time to visit Newfoundland again.

This offseason is different. Last offseason I was in prepare for the new SMJHL Season for the Anchorage Armada but this time it is the very first offseason before the first SHL season for the Texas Renegades. I can't wait to make this important jump in my career. But at first we are actually in offseason. It is now the 4th week of offseason and the first three were resting but also prepare the body for the first SHL Season. So with the resting I still had some hours in week in the gym. I need to be prepare for this big guns in the SHL and I will try all to help my team so good I can. Also on vacation at Crete I was 2 days in a week in the gym. Last week I was back in Germany by my family. It was nice to see the total family again. From this week on we will prepare for some national games with Germany. I am actually in Berlin and we train a bit and look how good is the chemistry for us players and where we should play. Next week we will have 3 games for Germany. I also cant wait to play those games. After that I will have one last week resting and then I will head back to North America and the prepare with the Texas Renegades will start.

Chuck Stewart doesn't stop. Losing last season in game seven of the final by a goal only fuels his desire to win and compete. There is no time to rest if you want to be the best. Chuck did take a short break after the final to recover emotionally and physically. Since then, he's been busy. Playing on the Canada Black team at the world juniors has been the best for him. Practising and being around a new set of teammates has provided him with additional perspectives of how other pros conduct themselves. When not at the world juniors, Chuck can be found in the weight room and on the practice ice with his Carolina teammates. Putting in the time to make sure he is the best form he can be for game one of season 81. His favourite though, is to be on the ice with his teammates. If you can’t be playing games in front of sold out crowds, the next best thing is being out there with the people who will help you reach new heights and be successful.

W Option #1: I am getting called up to the big team so this is a very important off season for me.  I must push myself to get better. The Seattle Argonauts are a team on the rise, and coming off of back-to-back title wins in the SJMHL Gordon McFisherman will fit in.  I am a hard working do anything player and that is what I will bring to the team.  I will do 50 daily sprints a day to bring up my speed. i have this this exercise where there is a puck behind a board with a little hole in it and I skate around and then quickly try to poke the puck away to work on y hand eye in stick checking.  Of course you have the quick fire shot to help me raise my accuracy and shot power numbers.  I also use that board with a little hole in it to work on my passing. Aver all I think I am improving steadily and can show my ability in my first season as a 3rd liner.
