Wolf looking for an SHL Team

Wolf looking for an SHL Team

I don't think we've ever seen an 80+ point-per-season kind of guy sitting by his phone and waiting at this point. Of course, he wasn't naturally a free agent when the period opened up during the off-season. Only recently did he become a Free Agent, and this poor timing could have made things tricky for anyone to work anything out. For Wolf, he'd probably want to go to a team that wants to win. Those teams, unfortunately for Wolf, have already made their moves and have their finalized rosters mostly set. So, does he go to someone lower? Do they have room? What's going to happen with Wolf, and what are his exact thoughts on it? Thankfully, he filled out some questionnaires we sent him through email.

1. Would you sign with just about anyone?
I'd certainly entertain the idea. I just really want to play hockey. Texas is heading in a different direction. Last season was our final push. I had so much fun there, and while I was also looking forward to Baltimore, that didn't work out. Texas was great. Management was cool, and so was everyone on the team. We had a good team while I was there. Of course, playing on a competitive team would be fun, but I just want to talk to teams. Who is out there?

2. What are your expectations for your players next season?
I hope it's the same thing that happened this past season. Depreciation didn't hurt me too bad. I need to make some money - that is why you see me right here. A contract would help a lot with that, too. I want to continue being a top player. It's been a lot of fun. I love being back in the SHL to a little more higher of an activity level. I credit Texas for that, but New Orleans was amazing, too. Both are led by great humans.

This is an amazing opportunity to check off somewhere I haven't played before, too. I've been on the SHL since S4 - ON and OFF! I've had my highs and my lows. I'm chill and mellow now after all the time that has passed us by. It is crazy! Hopefully, some teams out there have got room for a guy and if not.. I guess what should I recreate and when's the best time?

Hope everything works out for you Bana!

Kinda seems like there's an issue right now with something. Whether that's not enough cap, contract tiers lining up with the cap, or just a lack of roster spots, that's up for people with a better understanding of the league as a whole than me to decide.. but coupled with a 90+ prospect draft class, maybe it's time for expansion? But what would I know Wink

Cheers
