I like the casino aspect, which is focused on SHL and SMJHL. However, it would be cool if you incorporated "real-life" sports bets on significant games or events for us to also participate in.

i enjoy casino quite a bit so i wouldn't get rid of it altogether but in terms of what i would add for the bets that is tough, maybe something along the lines of who will improve most in the standings and who will drop most. i.e largest points increase/decrease in standings.

I barely use the casino and I don't really see that changing. I've placed a single bet in 3 seasons. Just for the sake of ideas, stuff could be added like individual player stats O/U (eg, X player scores more than 35.5 goals O/U). Seasonal matchups could also be an idea. Say BUF plays TBB 5 times in the regular season, make an O/U that BUF wins 2.5.

I personally don't think the Casino should be changed at all. I like it as its little niche, and I don't like the idea of expanding the on-site "gambling."

Honestly, the casino is such a small part of the SHL, I have no strong feelings about it. I can see why people would want to get rid of it but I can also see why it can add a bit of fun. I wouldn't mind seeing player bets (over/under for goals or points, etc.). Prop bets would be fun but not sure what you could really bet on. Parlays would be hard to implement and I don't see that being possible.

I personally would like blackjack and league sanctioned Texas holdem so I can steal Luke’s money, also I think it’d be fun to add a third pack type to the card shop, EA has been doing it for a while, and idk how much this would need to cost to balance it out, but they’re called opportunity packs, and they give you like a 1/5 chance at a really good card or some absolute garbage, so it’d be like $20 IRL dollars for a pack that says opportunity pack, team strategy item or 98 ovr player, and the odds are 22% to get that good player

the Cup Odds section is mathematically impossible and it irks me every time; i'm not saying it needs to be perfect mathematically but the way it is now is so far astray that it's never worth it to place one of those bets.

a 2/1 odds works out to a 33% implied probability, and we have 4 teams listed at 2/1. so we're already at 133%
3/1 odds is 25%, 4/1 is 20%, etc.

if you add up all the teams' odds, it comes out to a bit over 350%, meaning we'd need there to be 3.5 cups awarded for this to even out. casino should have a mathematical advantage, of course, but not this extreme!

We should take bets on sim related but more management events. Who will be the first GM this season to be fined, which GM would be punished for tampering, which team would be the first to make a regular season trade.

I'm not a gambling addict, I'm just dedicated, there's a difference.

The casino to me feels like a child compared to the offerings of that of its PBE & ISFL counterparts. They offer more such as futures or even irl events such as playoff games.

I would like an over/under on punishments per season. Maybe the line is at 1.5 or somewhere around there, but as an appeals committee member I want to gamble on how busy I’ll be.

Since the current casino only has bets for amount of regular season wins for teams, could introduce amount of goals in a sim/week or over/under on how many points a certain player will get in a sim day as potential other bets to make.

I do not really care for Casino. I tried it once and found it really underwhelming. Gambling isn't really the reason I come here, I don't really care to see it in real life sports either.

I don't really get into gambling because I lose every time. But if I were to gamble I'd like to see props on things like player stats, etc. Probably still wouldn't put any money down though.
