BREAKING NEWS - The Surgeon is missing in action! San Diego Tidals' Ogie Ogilthorpe, drafted this season, is missing in action and has yet to play a game and thus as a result he will be replaced by Enlightened Centrist ho just joined the promotion! Introducing the SHL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP! New this season will be tag team matches to be contested by the roster who will be fighting for the brand new SHL Tag Team Championships! The points tally of each team will determine the winners unless I decide to spice things up for storyline purposes. And Now: Introducing the teams! As we all know, in the SHL every player has a role. Power forward, Sniper, Enforcer to name only a few. I decided to associate each available role with a fighting style and this is the results! Joe Primeau Power Forward - Powerhouse: Overwhelms opponents with strength and hard-hitting moves. Dangler - Technical Wrestler: Uses finesse, creativity, and technique to outmaneuver opponents. Claude L'Castor Crease-Cleaning Defenseman - Protector: Focuses on shielding teammates, breaking up interference, and maintaining control. Drew McIntyre Power Forward - Powerhouse: Overwhelms opponents with strength and hard-hitting moves. Enlightened Centrist Two-Way Forward - Hybrid Wrestler: Balances offense and defense effectively, excelling at transitions. Darrin Turner-Yell Sniper - Striker: Relies on precision strikes and targeted offense to weaken opponents. Darby Reznor Power Forward - Powerhouse: Overwhelms opponents with strength and hard-hitting moves. Dangler - Technical Wrestler: Uses finesse, creativity, and technique to outmaneuver opponents. Andrade Lasomba Perimeter Shooter - High Flyer: Focuses on long-range, aerial maneuvers rather than grappling or close combat. John Peanut Shutdown Defenseman - Submission Specialist: Neutralizes opponents by locking them down and cutting off escape routes. Xavier Beausoleil Power Forward - Powerhouse: Overwhelms opponents with strength and hard-hitting moves. Playmaker - All-Rounder: Versatile style, capable of adapting to offense or defense to set up opportunities. Mercedes Baylé Dangler - Technical Wrestler: Uses finesse, creativity, and technique to outmaneuver opponents. Hunter Cross Playmaker - All-Rounder: Versatile style, capable of adapting to offense or defense to set up opportunities. Ogie Ogilthorpe Goon Defenseman - Hardcore Brawler: Focuses on physicality and intimidation, not finesse or precision. World - Claude L'Castor North American - Mercedes Baylé Challenge - John Peanut Four Star - Darby Reznor Tag Team - N/A Wrestling wouldn't be wrestling with some twists and turns, so here are the rules of the game! Because like some promoter we know, I can do whatever I want! Official SHL Wrestling Rules ( Subject To Change ) - The SHL World Championship is given to the points scoring leader and will change hands only if a lead change takes place. - The SHL North American Championship is awarded to the points-scoring leader on a weekly basis. - The SHL Four Star Cup is awarded to the SMJHL points-scoring leader on a weekly basis. - The SHL Challenge Champion is awarded to the SHL points-scoring leader on a weekly basis. Thus, while the World Championship will compile the stats through the season, the North American title will reset every week. - If a wrestler has most points for more than one Championship, the second title will be awarded to the second points leader of the second title. if the second leader has a belt, the winner will be the third points-scoring leader. This there will no longer be 'Darby2Belts'. This is known as The Reznor Rule. Rule Update - Claude L'Castor being the only goalie, will have his wins and losses together + 10 points ( Was + 5 ) tallied in order to make things interesting. Also, because Kevin Owens is right, fight me. NEW Rule - Defensemen are given + 5 points to their tally in order to spice things up and make them ore competitive. Because I can! - The Two-Belt Rule, otherwise known as the Reznor Rule, doesn't apply to the Tag Team Championships. Location - Bell Centre, Montreal, Quebec Opening Match – SHL Tag Team Championship Beausoleil & Peanut vs. Reznor & Lasombra The night kicks off with an absolute barnburner as Team Patriotes challenges for the tag titles! The chemistry between Beausoleil and Peanut proves to be the difference-maker as they dethrone the champions and claim the gold! But before they can celebrate, McIntyre and Cross launch a shocking attack, sending a clear message—no one is safe! Hunter Cross vs. Joe Primeau A battle of brute force and technical prowess sees Joe Primeau rise to the occasion against the dominant Hunter Cross. After withstanding Cross’ relentless assault, Primeau counters with a thunderous Prime Time Kick for the win! Four Star Championship Darby Reznor © vs. Gappy Hilmore Reznor defends his title against the unpredictable and dangerous Hilmore in a brutal, high-risk contest. Despite Hilmore’s unorthodox tactics, Reznor retains after landing a wicked Coffin Drop. But before he can celebrate, Hunter Cross and Drew McIntyre strike again! What the hell is going on?! Darrin Turner-Yell vs. Andrade Lasombra Two warriors with a hunger for dominance collide! Turner-Yell showcases his high-energy, smash-mouth offense, countering Andrade’s finesse. In the end, Turner-Yell lands a huge YEET! Driver to secure a hard-fought victory. Challenge Championship John Peanut © vs. Xavier Beausoleil In a battle between two technical masterminds, Xavier Beausoleil fights tooth and nail to dethrone John Peanut. With the crowd firmly behind him, Beausoleil lands a devastating finisher to capture the Challenge Championship! The era of the Patriotes continues! North American Championship Mercedes Baylé © vs. Drew McIntyre A clash of resilience versus brute force, as Baylé defends her title against the powerhouse McIntyre. Despite McIntyre’s overwhelming offense, Baylé outmaneuvers him, scoring a decisive pinfall. Post-match, Cross joins McIntyre for a vicious attack, but Baylé manages to escape unscathed, glaring at the rising storm of chaos. Main Event – SHL World Championship Claude L’Castor © vs. Enlightened Centrist L’Castor puts his championship on the line against the ever-calculating Enlightened Centrist, who aims to bring his analytical approach to championship gold. Just as Centrist looks poised to win, chaos erupts as Drew McIntyre and Hunter Cross storm the ring, blindsiding Centrist! Their interference allows Claude to retain, and as they stand tall together, the shocking revelation is made—the Nevada World Order is born! AND THAT'S THE SHOW FOLKS!!!
