i think the area of concern is how the reporting user came across and presented said evidence? 

it sounds like all the user needed was a name and decided to google search this person or comb through all avenues of social media looking for something like this to find and got lucky. but the search itself is still weird behavior unless there's other information that wasnt stated in the punishment post (aka the user self-doxxed more than just their name). 

we as a league dodged a bullet but quite a few of us want more information as to what started this all. I think that's a fair ask

Right, so...if they shot a bunch of kids that would be okay as long as none of those kids were SHL members? I don't expect you to say "yes" to that, I'd just like to point out that you're essentially saying "It's not our business if people literally *want* members of our community to die/not have basic human rights, as long as they don't say that to their faces" and I cannot and will not ever agree with that. I'm not going to sit on my hands and wait for someone to attack one of the people in this community before I do something about it.

If you know there's Nazis, and you don't do anything about it, you become complicit in allowing them to continue to carry on without consequence. People have varying degrees to which they are willing to continue to be complicit, but when it comes to the little spheres of influence I have in this world, I will not. I hope they do grow. I hope they can change. But I will not demand or expect that the marginalized people in this community make themselves available for a game of will-they-won't-they with Nazis.

i think the area of concern is how the reporting user came across and presented said evidence? 

it sounds like all the user needed was a name and decided to google search this person or comb through all avenues of social media looking for something like this to find and got lucky. but the search itself is still weird behavior unless there's other information that wasnt stated in the punishment post (aka the user self-doxxed more than just their name). 

we as a league dodged a bullet but quite a few of us want more information as to what started this all. I think that's a fair ask

im sure its possible to provide more information into the investigation without doxxing individual users, and i respect their privacy. i think a third-person extra-personal explanation of the sequence of events could be provided that would clear up some of the other POVs here in the thread (none of which thankfully are in support for this guy)

i dont think a single user here (i hope) is gonna defend this guy.

i think the area of concern is how the reporting user came across and presented said evidence? 

it sounds like all the user needed was a name and decided to google search this person or comb through all avenues of social media looking for something like this to find and got lucky. but the search itself is still weird behavior unless there's other information that wasnt stated in the punishment post (aka the user self-doxxed more than just their name). 

we as a league dodged a bullet but quite a few of us want more information as to what started this all. I think that's a fair ask

Unless someone illegally hacked into some account, why does it matter? If a person is flying their nazi flag in public why does it matter how it came to the league's attention? What does it change?
