I just remembered a story one of my Captains told me about being in charge of a cargo ship where one of his deckhands was a skinhead.

“He was nice enough to the whole crew. They were international. But he looked the part and his bunk was full of the regalia. Flag and all. Had to let him go. He understood.”

Moral of the story. Even if they aren’t actively mistreating, anybody whom their ideology would tell them that they should hate to the very core still in the end you just can’t have them around.

Exactly. Though you cannot have that on Deep Sea ships as who boards is tightly controlled. The other problem is that most people won’t be comfortable around someone who agrees with Nazi views.
