Being a rookie that isn't really standing out much in any one particular skill or category, I'd say right now my x-factor could be something cool that like activates after a big play or a big game, call it 'power up' or something where I get a bit better as time goes on in the game, as I spend about 20+ mins on the ice.

Wilhelm Seider is so hot when he carries the puck in SHL81 that he literally catches opposing players on fire. They have to either stop drop and roll or get off the ice so it’s an easy path to the net for Wilhelm.
Hunter Cross is going to develope the Big Hits ability. While normally hes a grinding forward looking to make plays by using his hands or passing it off he has recently found an edge in using the body. Many players will not be expecting a play of his archatype to being throwing the body!
Swiffer has an in-game ability to increase/decrease the size of any player's skates. It's gonna look like Mario Kart banana peel slips out on the ice. Your player has 18 balance? Cool, you're also wearing a size 18 skate now. Good luck, everyone!
Developers gave Holeh Guacamoleh a special trait called the worm. When in danger of giving up a goal he will dive to the ice and do the worm stopping 85% shots at the goal unless they are going upper 90.
As a quarterback, SON definitely needs to pull the sauciest passes anyone could ever done without cheating. Even with a puck magnet x-factor, my opponents will legitimately rage as my passes always get on my teammates stick
