We are now hiring for S81 WJC General Managers! As a reminder, this is a one-season job and it's a great way to cut your teeth with GMing! If you have GM'd before, you are still welcome to apply. Preference goes to SMJHL Players and first-time GMs. We can have up to 2 GM's per team though, so anyone is welcome to apply! Having FHM8 is not a requirement, but it does give you more control over your roster and tactics.

The pay for this role is $2,000,000 seasonally with a bonus for getting on the final podium!

I'm not going in this round since I'm busy and likely will be helping scouting a bit with my teams, but I'll say that as a rookie, this is 100% a great thing to try.

You get a sense of how strategy in the sim works (Even if it will be a new one after this), picking a team and a small taster of what it is like being a GM. If you want to consider becoming a GM in the future, being in a team's "War room" or just get an appreciation for the effort in running the league, this is a great avenue. Those GMs... They deserve flowers. If you find that this side of the league isn't for you, then oh well, at least you get paid for it. As someone once told that the best way as a new player to find your "place" in this league is try a bit of everything (within reason. Keep your sanity please). Good luck to the new and returning GMs, and Noxu, be good to whatever rook you get like you were with me
