As a goalie, I wanted to give a shout out to Ela Solberg as someone in the MVP race! She's currently having an amazing season as she's first in GAA, GSAA, S% all while playing a respectable 40 games! I know it isn't super common for goalies to win MVP, but I wanted to give her a mention! A more obvious mention would be Josie Cass, who is currently leading the league in Goals and points! Those are certainly strong stats, fans and voters alike love offense. In my opinion she is the current favorite for MVP at the moment. Giving defenseman some love, I want to mention Ivan Ivanovitch, he's currently 1st in goals and 2nd in assists and points. He's also in a league of his own in plus/minus at +62! As a last mention, shout out to Hugh Eackman, who is the MVP at fighting with 3 fights won!

Only players running for Most Valuable Player is the entire Kelowna Knights team. They have at least five players on this team. They are the only ones I have seen play so. I do not pay much attention to the rest of the league. The league does not like to play these Kelowna guys. They battle hard and they have a great chemistry with one another.
Most Valuable Player? Does not go to one specific person. The SMJHL has seen their fair share of successful, phenomenal, talented, and creative hockey players… but they have never seen a Most Valuable Team! Let us start with this to try on for size. Kelowna has a very good but young team. The defense in the playoffs will hurt them. They know how to play and get in front of the defense and score pucks. It will be interesting to see how these Most Valuable Teammates go forward and try it win a cup. (160 words) Drafted 2nd round 21st Pick by the Winnipeg Jets in S55 SHL Entry Draft

For me, The S81 Ideen Fallah Trophy for MVP belongs to Ela Solberg as they really have stood out as a game changer. Their performance in the net really helped their team dominate this season with a GSAA of 28.64 a whomping 15.44 higher than second place in the league. Thus, we can see how Ela Solberg was able to keep their team in games this season which I believe allowed the QCC players the confidence to play their game. Their league leading save percentage of 0.922% which is also a huge 0.016 higher than second place at 0.906%. Ela Solberg is leading the way for the modern day goalie. Goalies everywhere are rooting for Ela Solberg to take home the S81 Ideen Fallah Trophy for MVP and representing goalies for the sport. The only thing holding back Ela Solberg from winning is a lack of games. At 40 games played, Ela Solberg was tied for 13th for games played as well as 11th in minutes played. You would expect an mvp caliber goalie with a higher work load.

![]() What a season to go off and break the 100 point barrier, only one of two players to do that. Cass has been a dynamo for San Diego, pumping in league leading 48 goals in her 106 point season, around 18% of the team's total goals this season. Without those goals, it would have been a struggle for the Tidal to do as well as they did in the season. Ethan Cross ![]() Every Batman needs their Robin.....although I feel that's a little harsh when talking about Ethan Cross. The other half of the 100 point club with 103 of his own, Cross leads the J in assists with 63, a true mark of his playmaking skills. Just as vital to Tidal success as his teammate. Ela Solberg ![]() The guardian of the Citadelles net, Solberg has been a true brick wall for QCC. Almost double 2nd's GSAA with 31.67, a SV% of 0.921 and a GAA of 2.48, Solberg was the best goalie in the J this season, and it wasn't even close. ![]() Sig Credit: Flappy (EVO) and Skolpaddor (RESO)
