I think, up to this point, I'm going to keep any errors that continue to pop up and use this post as a way to inform future predictions! Obviously there's a ton of things that definitely did not cross my mind when we wrote this, so keep the information coming!

If a co-GM retires after the beginning of the S82 season, that co-GM's slot may be used to protect another player, regardless of position. Head GM slots cannot be used to protect other players outside of the goalie exception listed above.

The rules say the co-GM slot can be moved but the head GM slot cannot. Doing my data gathering for my own article SFP is the only team who is taking advantage of this right now. Since BW retired as well though, they won't be able to use her GM slot on someone else.

PHI, MTL, and ATL all had head GMs retired so they can't use the slot (though I'm not sure PHI would have been eligible to do that if Acsolap was the co since he retired prior to the start of S82).

Either GM slot can be moved if they are a goalie, so I expect BUF, CGY, and MIN to take advantage of that.
