THE TOP TIER
SK = Skating: 93
PH = Puck Handling: 90
DF = Defense: 90
PA = Passing: 89 For a defenseman. Astorino is one off the best at his spot. He has great agility and great speed for a man his size. He can spring fast breaks and maybe some end to end plays. He has great puck-handling skills for a d-man. If anyone tried to poke check him or get the puck away, he won’t let them get even close to him. His defense, like Mike Tyson would say, is impeccable. No one gets passed em. He straight up aint letting anyone pass em. Then he says “u mad”. He has great passing skills and can spot anyone with his great vision.

THE AVERAGE TIER
CK = Checking: 76
EN = Endurance: 74
DU = Durability: 70 Astorino is one of those defensemen that plays a lot of shifts and has a lot of ice time per game. He is also very physical. He goes in those corner and fights for that puck. If anyone is harassing his goalie, he gonna end up on the ground. He has played over 1000 minutes in his career and his getting more and more fit. When he gets to the top of his game, you will see him playing about 30 mins per game.

THE SHIT TIER
FG = Fighting: 50
ST = Strength: 64
FO = Face Offs: 50
SC = Scoring: 60
PS = Penalty Shot: 50 Astorino still has a lot of room to improve. Its only his second year in the majors. Even though Michael isn’t the biggest grinder out there, He will stand up for his team and had 80 penalty minutes He will need to improve his strength to become an elite player in this league. This will help him gain confidence. He doesn’t need face-offs so that shouldn’t be touched as well as penalty shootouts. Then, there is scoring. MFW. He scored 4 goals in his NWJHL season and has never had the change to taste that feeling again. I mean come on simmers make him score a goal. If he wants to become like many HOF defensemen, he needs to score.
Asto in International Play
He has also had his fair share of International Hockey. He has played twice for team world. He might get his chance in team Canada sooner or later. He has been producing slightly in the International circuit but can become very good in a couple of years.
