Hemsky NOT getting traded
#1

Oilers hold press conference today where MacT says they are not trading Hemsky.

IMO this is good news. Hemmer's one of my faves, he deserves to stay and try and be part of a winning team after being the best player on a crappy team for so long.

Of course, the way the Oil operate, probably means tomorrow we'll hear he got traded for a 6th round pick.

I'm completely fine with it, always loved Hemmer and i'm excited to see what Eakins will be able to do with him.

if he can find his game, it's good...if he continues how he has, i'd rather see him gone.

Hemsky was a great top six forward before he broke his foot.

yea if he plays like that, i like it but if he takes a step back like he did after his shoulder issues, i'd rather have someone else in that spot.

He had 17 points in 26 games before playing the next 12 games with a broken foot. On pace for a 53 point season.
