Question

Can every player choose what player type they want? For example as a Defensive Defenseman can I change my player type to Sniper once this gets implemented and redistribute based on my new player type?

And with regression if I have a skill @ 80 and for simple math we lost 10% would the formula be 40*10% which would reduce by 4 TPE which would put player at 78 for the skill or would it be 80*10% which would 8 TPE which would put player at 76?

That is correct. The whole point is you shouldn't be able to be much more than average at your weakness.

Regression will 100% be revisited if this goes through and with regards to the 325 TPE rule, I don't see what changes to make that number more unfair by bringing in an update scale when everyone is still under the same scale.

Why change the send down TPE limit anyways? I mean, won't all players in the league have lower attributes?

You will make your choice when re-distribution happens. Think of this as a complete reset of your player. If you want to change his direction, do it however you see fit.

I think we should get the regression questions out of the way before a vote takes place no this scale.. Let everyone get all the information because some may get worried that they don't like the regression system that would come together with the new scale.

I mentioned the send down rule because of inflation that the new system would have to the league. But doesn't matter now!

If I want to become a 'sniper defencemen'... all I do is shoot the puck and play defence... and don't know how to pass.. Could I declare passing a weakness and substitute it something else?

I have a question regarding the builds which have a one-or-the-other as a primary. Example:

Two Way Forward â€“ Passing/Scoring + Defense + 1 attribute of your choice â€“ Your choice

Seeing as a Two-Way forward can choose one of Passing or Scoring and he also gets a +1 of his choice, can he choose Passing or Scoring that he didn't already select from the one he's given?

Oh I know it's your choice, but I was just curious if you were able to select it anyways. It seems like you can have only 1, so I just want to make sure.

Also to be clear regression isn't a pressing issue in regards to this because regression and TPE counting will happen before re-distribution this off-season so if it goes through, we can take the time to make a formulated decision on regression with the new system.

And inflation because of deflation. :unsure:
