Late last week young Seth Ryder made a life changing decision. He chose the team he would start he Junior career with. The team he chose may seem as a surprise to some, but to him, it was a now brainer. " I liked St.Louis from the very start, the fact they won the Four Star Cup last season and got Pentecost with the 1st overall pick, they had 1 hole, and that was on the wing." You can say that that hole has been filled since the signed Ryder to a 2 million dollar deal, many predict he will be pushing for a spot on the top line with guys like Satan, Smirnof, and Reid. "Another large part was that on of their top defence man and number 1 overall pick Pentecost reached out and talked to me personally. It was a real huge factor in my decision to come to St.Louis." Any worries that Ryder may not have been able to fit in to the Crows style have been thrown away. It is rumoured that he holds a large presence in the locker room and has made many friends. "The guys are great, the management is great, every thing is great" said Ryder recently. And when asked what his goals are on the team, his answer was simple "Champion."
