Teams and their Rookies
#1

The following is a small review of the rookies on each team and how they could or could not help the team. Some of us are rebuilding teams, expansion teams, or veteran teams but they all have one goal in mind, get stronger and win. I apologize in advance if I missed a rookie on your team as I based this off of the pre season indexes.

Stampede BUFFALO <span style='color:#EAC117'>STAMPEDE</span>
Starting off with an expansion team there are bound to be several rookies that will be an trying to make their name known. The one that we will focus our attention to have a break out year will be Robb Wind or Reginald Howard. Both are offensive forwards that think shoot first pass later. Much the other rookies on the team apart from Ray Pejonis there is a large amount of shooters. The team lacks an rookie defense that will be an immediate impact. The team is young and will most likely not be a strong contender with a 72 overall rating.

Dragons CALGARY <span style='color:#C7C7C5'>DRAGONS </span>
The Dragons are all second season or longer players boasting a 78 overall rating second to only the Seattle Riot. Bringing in a strong team they appear to be a crowd favorite while Randy Randleman will be sent down this season. Unless Steven Jalopski or another winger is moved do not expect to see a rookie this year on the ice for the fire throwing dragons.

Blizzard EDMONTON <span style='color:#82CAFA'>BLIZZARD </span>
The Bliz with an overall rating of 77 will have rookie Fredrik Zavstrom lace up as a 4th liner. Most noted for his passing and skating ability he will need to season up a little more if he is to gain any more ice time. He has a good two way game but will not be a big help this year other than giving his team mates a breather.

Steelhawks HAMILTON <span style='color:#3090C7'>STEELHAWKS </span>
The defending Challenge Cup champs are moving forward with the steel curtain known as Brandon Girard and Patrick Brumm. While these two are very close in both skill and the draft we expect Pat Brumm to have a bigger season. The reason we believe this is defense and his scoring abilities are far greater developed than Girard's.

Panthers LOS <span style='color:#F38F1D '>ANGELES PANTHERS </span>
The Panthers have no rookies as well, and will be running with a similar roster to last season. The most notable or youngest player is Erik Lundqvist who will be attempting to steal the starting job from the aging Weekes.

Rage MANHATTAN <span style='color:#858381'>RAGE </span>
In the middle of a rebuild the Rage have not yielded any rookies are looking to be a dud this year as Merica rebuilds to a better tomorrow. Tied for the lowest at a 71 overall rating, expect them to move some peices before the deadline.

Chiefs MINNESOTA <span style='color:#E41B17'>CHEIFS </span>
Winston Windsor is not currently on the roster as their rookie but is strong on the puck. He is a beast at tea parties and if called up will be a young puck moving defenseman.

Wolfpack NEW <span style='color:#A5A4A3'>ENGLAND WOLFPACK </span>
The one and only Zack Hoover known for his setups via passing will be slotting into the third line. On a team that also on a rebuild he will recieve a considerable amount of ice time come the dead line. Look for him to move up the line up as he works out his rookie mistakes.

:admirals: PORTLAND <span style='color:#FBB917'>ADMIRALS </span>
Another rebuild team with a low overall rating of 71 but may have some punch they can offer. Selecting 3rd overall Pal Vikingstood the fighting defenseman, JP knew all about him having drafted him to the SMJHL St. Louis Scarecrows. He plays a tough guy role and has the ability to kill any penalty kill. Look for this guy to win rookie of the year!

Riot SEATTLE <span style='color:turquoise'>RIOT </span>
The best team in the legaue at a 79 overall rating despite losing two restricted free agents(Reginald Howard, Tyler No Nerves) will utilize rookie John Matthews in a top 7 d man role. His defensive game needs to be increased greatly if he is to secure a top 4 role.

Renegades TEXAS <span style='color:#747170'>RENEGADES </span>
Vladimir Lidstrom is set to be a winger with a strong wrist shot lining up next to rookie Travis Kudleychuk. Vladimir Lidstrom is set for penalty kill help as well on the 3 v 3 line up.

Stars TORONTO <span style='color:#EFF7FF'>NORTH STARS </span>
Team of an overall of 76 as recreate Beau Ballard is set for the third line. His strongest skill of face offs is being overlooked but his speed should help to make up in his other lackings.

Platoon WEST <span style='color:#810541'>KENDALL PLATOON </span>
Second overall from the Season 24 draft, Damien Wert is set to make his debut. Known for being high and wide he has worked to finish his shot and could be a deadly force. This third line rookie may just give the other teams deep lines some trouble as he shoots from all angles.

Jets WINNIPEG <span style='color:#15317E'>JETS</span>
Mitchell Dambach has been dominating pre season face offs ranked at number 2 currently. He brings a strong checking presence to the third line as he focused on his defensive play this past season. Bringing little scoring ability he is perfect as a shut down center who may just be the game changing rookie the Jets need.

Sorry I did not do many goalies, skaters rule the world Cheers
