How would you rank the SMJHL teams?
Where do you hop to land come draft time? ![]() Registered S36 Challenge Cup Champion
"How do you plan to develop your player through your first SMJHL season?"
"What NHL player you think better reflects what you are now and what kind of player you want to become (make an NHL comparison)?" "Do you have any hockey superstitions or pre-game rituals?" "What type of person are you off the ice and more importantly, what will you bring to the locker room?" ![]() Registered Senior Member ![]() "I sort of dislike these questions because to me, I would be happy with any of the teams, but if I had to rank them by how active they have been with me overall, I would rank it as so:" 1. Impact 2. Knights 3. Raiders 4. Falcons 5. Whalers 6. Scarecrows 7. Mammoths 8. Firebirds ![]() "First. Obviously. I do not know how most of the teams will stack up roster wise when the draft begins and maybe one of the first few teams that pick will not need any more offensive players, it just really depends on the team, but I have been proving and will continue to prove that I deserve to go at the top." ![]() "I plan on always practicing and working on my shot, I do not think that will ever change, but I really wish to build my strength up and start expanding my skills more for the team, getting better at supporting the defense and to develop the skills to recognize and send the right passes, things like this. I plan to work very closely with the coaches of which ever team drafts me, making sure I am on the right plans." ![]() "Right now, I am not completely sure which player I am most like, but I do know I wish to emulate Patrick Marleau and the way he plays, also how he acts off the ice as well. I am a pretty humble and down to earth guy, but don't let that fool you! " ![]() " When I walk into the arena, I am thinking about what I need to do to get ready for the game, getting sticks ready, things like this. I try to just focus hard on my pre-game warm ups and stretching, just to calm the excitement that builds inside of me before I hit the ice. One thing in particular that I do is a breathing technique that was shown by Wim Hof, it's pretty interesting stuff and can help with breathing overall." ![]() "Like I said before, I am a pretty chill and humble guy. There are times when I just keep to myself and just focus on playing the game I love. That's what it really comes down to, is being able to express my passion for the sport on the ice with a great group of guys and to work towards the goal of winning a cup. I am a team player and always strive for the betterment of the team above all. I am fiercely loyal to the players around me and will go to great lengths to show that. I will also be bringing over my skating skills and most importantly, my goal scoring abilities." ![]() ![]() |
