What do you expect out of your first season? Mainly to be a good presence in the locker room who can both help out new members and can just have fun hanging around with people. Some on-ices success would be nice as well of course but it's not my #1 priority.

Have you ever played in a sim league before - hockey or otherwise? Which? Yes, this one and the VHL as well as a few lower maintenance side leagues who were usually rather short lived.

Why do you want to play for the Montreal Militia? I don't have a preference towards any team right now, I know a lot of people on this site but I want to approach this process as open-minded as possible so I'm trying not to prefer any team over the other.

What alternate universe would you most like to live in? Well not the My Little Pony one that's for sure... I'm not sure actually, I'm pretty happy with the one I'm in now. Pokemon maybe, just without the slavery? Or Game of Thrones, just without the inevitable death by backstabbing or dysentery?

What do you expect out of your first season? A lot of learning! I'm new to tracking hockey stats so the sim is really overwhelming right now, but I'm enjoying it. Someday I will find my chill and not burst into tears when someone congratulates me on my tiny child racking up the points. Maybe. Sometimes.

Have you ever played in a sim league before - hockey or otherwise? Which? Nope! I'm brand-new. My primary sport is swimming, which is too boring to have sim leagues. :D

Why do you want to play for the Montreal Militia? In the interest of a full disclaimer, Montreal is a little low on my list, though I've heard VERY nice things from my outside-of-SHL friends about GM Eggy! Because I have friends in PGF and Kelowna I would be most interested in going there, but the Mammoths and the Scarecrows have also grown on me considerably after going through their prospect interviews--I think they're set up really nicely.

Also, I feel like a HUGE jerk for saying so (seriously deleted and rewrote this three times) since it was obviously meant to be funny and creative and it was sent to a bunch of prospects, but trying to respond to the second-person fake-dating PM made me feel a little awkward/uncomfortable. Aggrieved

I know it can be tough to recruit in a way that separates newbies out based on personality, but I think there are probably better ways of getting clever answers out of people!

What alternate universe would you most like to live in? Harry Potter or His Dark Materials. Magic or a daemon friend! (What a good question. I love this question.)

Do you have any questions for us? With a self-stated very active locker room presence, I'm a little worried that I might get lost in the shuffle--what kinds of efforts do you guys make to make sure everybody fits in and feels included in activities?
