After you win the Challenge Cup with Portland you unlock ‘Big Head Bonus Mode’. 'Big Head Bonus Mode' is a hidden extra in some games, normally discovered through inputting a cheat code. Big Head or ‘DK Mode’ gives a player a massively disproportionate head, whereupon their physical dimensions change vastly. Occasionally, the arms are also increased in size alongside the head. Big Head Mode is occasionally known as 'DK Mode', as this was the name given to it in the Nintendo 64 classic GoldenEye. The DK stands for Donkey Kong, as the characters' proportions are made to resemble that of the Donkey Kong character. One of the new features in SHL32 is the SMJHL draft minigame. Live the life of an SMJHL GM and do your very best to try and pick the players that turn out to have SHL potential. Pick a team and join the S31 draft order. Use alcohol to lure your prospects to the practice arenas to get better at hockey. Give them adorable, customizable equipment to make them look gorgeous on the ice! Get them a recording studio to make funny podcasts. Work them hard in the playoffs to try and win the 4 Star Cup. The more you get drafted by an SHL team, the better score you'll get- and you can compare your score, equipment and podcasts with all your friends on facebook.
The new SHL 32 has a couple new features including now playing for national pride as a member of one of the 12 countries from the big boys such as Canada or the United States or the little guys like Austria or Ireland. Recruit new members to your country from other countries by offering them more playing time. Work your way up through the ranks of coach and then to general manager and lead your country from the bottom of the rankings to a gold medal.
Another new feature is the ability to do an all time fantasy draft where you can pick any player from any era from the beginning of the SHL. Draft your team of 18 players and 2 goalies, play against all time great teams or other players online and see you if can you win the title of the all time greatest team ever. You can play as players from the original part of the league to players that played in the high scoring era of league or draft a goalie from the dead puck era and lead your team to the championship. You can have a mix of players from all different eras or pick the best players from the same era to dominate all the others.
Bonus game: your malkin me crazy. Play as malkin and skate around getting slashed, hooked, and tripped around the ice and then you lose your cool, retaliate, and take a dumb penalty sending the other team on the power play. The more of a dumb penalty you take and the worst position it puts your team in, the more points you can earn. You can earn the most points when you take a penalty when your team is ahead by one or tied and the other team scores on the power play causing your team to eventually lose the game, leaving you with a dumb look on your face.
Christmas Day 2016 marked the release of EA's new installment in their agreement with the Simulated Hockey League, SHL32. The game features all-new game modes designed to emulate the true professional simulation hockey experience.
Toonza Mode:
Play as the league-favorite West Kendall Platoon and fight your hardest as you climb the standings, only to be immediately bounced in the first round of the playoffs every single time! Win gold and then have absolutely everybody forget about it because it's IIHF!
World Juniors Classic:
Choose your favorite S31 World Juniors team and relive the experience! Play as Timo Haas and the Cincinnati Silverback, and find yourself without your starting goalie after a game misconduct for referee assault! Join Colin Banning and the Matthew Leetches in a last-minute attempt at finding line chemistry after one of your general managers blows you off entirely! The possibilities are endless!
SHL32 also introduces a longtime fan wish in the form of a minigame, The Sim is Bullshit!
Play for the Montreal Militia and contend for the biggest bitch fit the league has ever seen! "The Sim is Bullshit" will have you playing as Ryan Vas, posting increasingly more absurd nonsense in the wake of a bad playoff beat in an attempt to have your GMs strip you of your captaincy as fast as possible! Time is of the essence here, so use your resources in the game's new forum feature as well as media outlets to prove to your management they've made a mistake in their leadership! Revive settled controversies in your attempt to discredit a team, only sinking your reputation further. Certain key phrases will earn you bonus points, pushing you to lose your letter even faster! These include,
"This is not how anyone should lose."
"We11, don't you guys also just hate awkward silences? 1 know I ha7e them..."
"If you could just take a second and try to understand that this is nothing but an illusion, you'd do just fine. But since you're too damn dumb to slow down and think it through, I won't bother explaining it to you."
The best part? Your entire bitch fit will be overshadowed once the league realizes there is a pair of brothers on the team that eliminated you.

Be a GM
Our ever popular Be a GM mode returns and better than ever! Now you have the ability to attempt to 'tamper' with opposing teams players at the risk of being caught! High risk, high reward could take your team to glory or come crashing to the ground. Also with increased trash talk opportunities and added #Softpack slogans on the twitter feed!
Be a Pro
Be a pro has also returned and is revamped as well! Now you have the option to team up with fellow rookies and call yourselves "The Deplorables". Also added is the ability to retire and unretire multiple times! Also, demand ridiculous amounts of ice-time and play more than half a game with no fatigue problems! Don't worry you'll never get injured, but you could get suspended for trying to 'tamper' as that is also an option in Be a Pro!
BONUS - Play Drunk ModeNEW
Ever wondered what it's like to play hockey at this level drunk like so many of the pros do? Now you can! Drunk mode is an option in Be a Pro now as you can "hit the bar" before gametime. The game will play very different when you choose to do so and for some may be easier. Be like David Benson and play SHL games after 15 shots of whiskey, just don't suck or you may get benched.
Choosing this option may also affect your relationships both positively and negatively with teammates and staff members.
2K Sports jumps back into the fold and will be releasing the newest installment of their hit hockey series, SHL2K17 (SHL32).
Before stepping away from hockey, 2K sports was considered the pinnacle of hockey video games. This seasons title returns with a number of innovative game modes. The people at 2k sports have not missed a beat. 2k sports has enjoyed a lot of success with their basketball franchise and we expect the same quality of games with the SHL series.
Key Game Modes
Connected Franchise/Online Leagues - A big complaint regarding the recent SHL releases has been the inability to play multiple seasons with people from around the globe. 2k sports brings you an innovative online franchise mode. Users may control any of the 14 SHL teams or the 8 SMJHL junior teams, Play the games, make trades, call players up, secure key send-downs for a run at the Four-Star Cup, find late round steals in the draft, the mode features everything. 2k sports has announced that they will host leagues in which people can join with an individual player.
Pond Hockey - A unique experience where up to 30 players can join a single game. The playing area is about the size of a football field, It's a more complex game of soccer on ice! Choose your favorite SHL/SMJHL superstar and put your skills to the test against the best players from around the globe.
Expansion - Think that the SHL or SMJHL is ready to expand? Give it a shot! Your first few seasons will mostly be spent fighting for your teams survival as other GM's who are angry that they didn't have a say in the expansion process try to have your team folded. You'll have to fight tooth and nail to even see the light of your third season. Your team will be considered for contraction even if you build a positive culture and win a championship in your 2nd or 3rd season. Nevermind that nobody wants to play for 3 of the other teams, your the new kid on the block! If you somehow keep the ship afloat for 7 or 8 seasons, you will have completed the mode. But be careful, If you wait too long to step away, somebody new could be brought in and destroy what you've accomplished.

Given an allotted amount of time, you will need to hit Clayton in various ways. Sometimes rulebreaking is rewarded, and as the name implies, tripping is legal! Trip Clayton up, and win! Your triumphs come at Clayton’s cost. It’s the ultimate game mode for those Wolfpack haters. Beat him up like never before! If you can catch him, that is.

If you pre-order the game, you'll receive an access code to the all-new minigame: Crutchfield's SmackDown Live. There are plenty of wrestlers coming after you too, including Sesugh Uhaa, the Japanese wrestler who covers himself in coconut oil before every match.
