S33 Wolfpack Interested Prospects Thread
#4

1. What are your long term goals for your player? Short term goals?
Long term I would like Olli to be a contributing player to a championship team. Whatever he can do to help the team win, he will do. Whatever he needs to work on, he will get it done. Short term, I plan to continue developing my defense and playmaking while keeping everything else decent is the plan. If I stay in Montreal for another season, my goal is to be a top contributor to the team and win the championship in Montreal.

2. Do you want to move up to the SHL immediately? Play one or more seasons in juniors? Open to either?
I am open to either, however I can help contribute to your team, I will do. If that means develop for the future, cool. I will work hard in Montreal to be the player you want me to be, if that means be a defensive 4th-3rd liner, cool I can do that too.

3. What's most important to you in an SHL team? Would you rather be on a winning team, or a close-knit and active one? Do you want to have a top roster spot early on, or maybe take a few seasons to climb up the ranks? What else differentiates a team you'd want to play on?
Most important thing is probably how close people are and the casual bonding in the LR or discord, that is my favorite part of my Montreal team. Being close-knit is most important. I would love to have a top roster spot early on, but I expect that I will likely have to climb up the ranks.

4. What's your locker room personality? Are you a natural leader? Shy but interested? Always in the middle of a gif war?
My personality is easy to get along with, likely to suggest ideas or changes if I have any for the team, and contributing to conversations no matter what they are about.

5. How did you find out about the SHL? What's your favorite part about this site?
I found a link on reddit, saw it a couple times before but never jumped in until now. My favorite part about the site is the people. It is full of cool and interesting people that I get along with well.

6. What's something you want to do in the SHL that you haven't gotten to do yet? What are you most proud of in your SMJHL career to date?
I would like a job on the site. I have applied for a couple, but only recently. I plan to get one before the season starts. Thing I am most proud of is being top 5 in rookie scoring among forwards, being a top 6 forward on Montreal, and being the first star of a game mid season. My player is off to a good start.

7. How active are you on the SHL? What's something that could drop your activity levels in the future?
I am on here every day. I am on the discord all day and contribute to the conversation when I can. School could drop my activity level, but I am working full time right now so I only see my activity level going up from here.

8. Tell me something about yourself! What do you do when you're not on the SHL? What's your favorite hockey team, and how did you get into the sport? Or something completely unrelated to hockey.
I am majoring in software engineering and have an internship at a software company. My favorite NHL team is the Avs but my favorite player is Kessel. I almost played college hockey but decided to go the educational route instead. I got into the sport really young but just trying every sport, hockey was just the best one, and I was good at it.

9. What's one reason the Pack should draft you? What's one reason we shouldn't?
You should because I am going to work hard to become whatever player you think will benefit your team the most. I am on here daily and work very hard. See my "Getting to know Olli Ojala" article to see my effort.
You shouldn't because there are a lot of other really good players that could end up better than me.

10. On a scale of 1-10 how would you feel about being drafted by the New England Wolfpack?
10

11. Are you familiar with anybody on the Wolfpack?
I am familiar with Eggy Nog, not quite sure who else is on the team.

12. What question should we be asking you?
"When can you start?"

No, but seriously I would ask "If we don't have a plan for your player, what are you going to work on?" To that I would answer to continue my path as a defensively responsible playmaking winger.

13. Do you have any questions for the Pack? (Feel free to PM us if you'd prefer)
None so far, I have already PMed you guys earlier and might have asked the questions I needed to there.
