But to do that in SMJHL is ridiculous, that would be more of an SHL thing to do, if anyone is going to do it. There are SMJHL teams that actually just struggle, and this would be such a slap in the face.

We didn't actually even sell this season, we just had an all rookie roster basically with 2 send-downs.

Such a dumb idea, and yeah next season we won't be playing in this, but there will be another team that ends up in our position arguing the same exact thing. If you really wanted to make a series for the two teams that don't make the playoffs just have it on the side, or sim a WJC with the SMJHL players that don't make the playoffs.
